The drum majors to the center of the field gets shorter and shorter every year too. They basically high step to the 30 now and just run the final 20 yards. It's not that hard to practice and do it right.

After every band practice we sing the fight song while clapping it. So during that I'm "rah-rah" cause there's some people that take it really serious. Traditions and such.
But as a student at like basketball I'm a "Go Hogs" type of guy.
And I agree with the above posts, Semper Fi is a hype.

The Hog call is something that has evolved over time, so I'm not as big a stickler for it.
I don't do spirit fingers. I doubt spirit fingers were original.
