I've had an unexpected vacation thanks to Hurricane Matthew and so I'm here in Atlanta. What is there to do here to occupy my time?

TIA

There are some nice things to see and do in Atlanta but I will send a warning instead... every other street is named peach something. Very easy to get lost there.

What are you looking to do? It's been a few years but I lived in the midtown area for quite awhile and can give you some things to check out.

Good thing you posted this here and not on the Ole Miss board.

I was in midtown last night! I'm looking for good bars and restaurants to go to. We are headed to Olympic park as well as the Georgia Aquarium today

In 2006 I really devoured some crab legs at Atlanta Fish market over around Buckhead. Place was great.

There are some great sea food restaurants in Atlanta. I got better sea food in Atlanta then I did when I lived in the Florida Panhandle.

College Football Hall of Fame is here in Atlanta. Definitely worth a look. MLK Museum. Georgia Aquarium. Concerts. Hike up Stone Mountain. Play some golf. All kinds of stuff to do here.

Check out the Virgina Highlands if you're in the midtown/downtown area. It's a couple miles east of downtown but it's packed with very nice restaurants and bars. That was our favorite place to hangout when we lived there. My favorite spot was Osteria which is a nice little and reasonably priced Italian place there but they really have something for everyone.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! Today we went and visited the world of coke and the aquarium. Last night I went to a few bars over in the East Atlanta Village!

To Hog Leg, thanks for the advice. Ive already slayed a few tinderellas since I've been here.
