What's the word on U of A seizing Charlie's Chicken by imminent domain.
We can't do that to build a new 112 or put a single damn road that goes E/W through Fayetteville but a small hwy frontage lot is really important

Did they use imminent domain? I don't think they did. They just gradually bought up everything else around it over the past five years and this is the last piece.

Anyone had that new place called The Best Frickin Chicken? It's where the Feltner on Dickson used to be. It was the guy who had that food cart with chicken off Dickson. He made it into a place to actually eat now. Apparently it's good.

i've been there 4-5 times, it's pretty good, just good fried chicken on the bone with a good crust, they have some good sides too. check it out for sure.

The sandwich shop on Block is interesting building. I really wish Green Sub would put a location downtown and put Loafin Joe's out of biz

I went to loafin joe's once. We walked in, said Hi to the waitress and sat at a table.
30 minutes later we went down to grubs and ate. I mean WTF, there were 5 people in the restaurant and we TALKED to the waitress.
I'm also all for UofA sprucing up the MLK area. We will have the only MLK in the country that isn't trashy. (probably not, but many are questionable to say the least)

Even the real MLK section of that street is gentrifying and townhouses and condos are popping up.

I have a good friend that worked at Aqua Fire. It was shut down because of tax evasion. The owners were supposedly pieces of shite and completely fricked over their employees.

Sucks because the Fville location was one of the better ones in the entire chain.
Do yourself a favor and skip the Stillwell one, they don't serve fried Okra.

I think they are griping because there are so many here already.
People need to realize we get what we can get in Fayetteville, it's an awful town for restaurants. Why open here when you can gross 3x more in bentonville from lunch traffic alone. Makes zero sense.

Seriously, where does this crazy shite come from?
The highest grossing restaurant in Bentonville, by far, is the WM corporate office cafeteria.
Fayetteville has three or four times as many good local restaurants as Bentonville. B'ville has gotten its act together recently, but c'mon.

I feel the sallisaw one is the best but fayetteville is a close second.
