Life without parole is the better option, in my opinion.
I hate that people with life sentences get chances for clemency or parole, and the victims' families have to go back and make sure they stay incarcerated.
On the other hand, this state nearly killed Damien Echols, and I am not confident in our ability to be 100% sure about guilt in all capital murder cases.
I've evolved on the death penalty issue. I used to be 100% ok with it, but I think life without the possibility of parole is a better solution. If evidence arises that exonerates a person, great. At least we didn't kill an innocent person.

Yeah but hat kind of banishment is impossible, and it's unethical to burden another country with our criminals. Unless the person is an illegal alien, it's our responsibility to rehabilitate/incarcerate our criminals.

I've always been in favor of the death penalty, but would like to see some tweaks to the way they go about it.
First, there is no need for an inmate to sit on death row for more than 10 years. Get it done, stop wasting money on the prisoners. 10 years is also plenty of time in this day and age to go through the appeals process and double check any DNA evidence, etc.
Second, do away with all of the last minute court interventions. Is this person going to get a stay or not. Last night really made me feel bad for the person being put to death. It comes off as almost torture IMO that the person about to be put down is still holding out hope. I think all of the appeals prior to the execution should be worked through at least 24 hours prior to the execution date and time. While I wanted the death warrant to be carried out last night, there was just a little part of me wondering what must be going through the guys head. Was he still holding out hope that he would not be executed? I would just like for the person that is being executed to know in his/her last 24 hours, that this is it.

A jury full of Arkansans whose decision making history include voting for Donald Trump because he had proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he had the skills and knowledge to make a great president and would definitely stand up for the middle class.
What could possibly go wrong?

This is completely false. Midazolem (Brand name Versed) was likely not the cause of the "so called" muscular reaction. Paralytics are most likely the cause, which are used after Versed and Propofol (which puts you to sleep).
Fasiculacation is an involuntary muscle contraction and relaxation which occurs frequently especially with people with a lot of muscle mass. On top of that, Versed causes amnesia and euphoria, so there is no recollection of being put to sleep.
Lethal injection is NO DIFFERENT THAN BEING PUT TO SLEEP FOR SURGERY OUTSIDE NOT WAKING UP!
