Fell 11 spots in total team scoring efficiency.

As you can also see Bert's team fell off an absolute cliff, going from 22 to 86 from 2022 to 2023....yikes.

Sun Belt Biy also dropped 33 spots. No way he survives another year.

Thought this was interesting for the 'the defense was so much better this year' crowd.

The defense played amazing considering our offense gave them little help.

It was. I don't know how anyone can watch them play while they still had something to play for and come to any other conclusion than that.

Them realizing their effort was completely wasted on an offense led by a lazy piece of shite by the end of the year doesn't change that.

Improved our defense and recruiting at the expense of losing Odoms head coaching experience, and it showed.

But now we got Bobby P’s experience and offense with our improved defense…

I base everything off numbers, because I don’t watch the games. Don’t look at the fact our offense couldn’t stay on the field longer than 2 minutes so by the 5th drive the defense had been on the field 20 minutes and was dead.

What are the numbers if we took away 3rd or just the 4th quarters?

No. He coaches Illinois and it was on the list.

Then maybe he should have been the head coach and not Sam.

Yeah I didn't think defense was the root of our problem. A competent O Line would have helped them out a good bit as well.

Why? Our recruiting would be worse than it currently is and our defense would still be in the same shape it was.

I realize you were just making a snide comment, but put some thought into it next time

I’m an idiot - didn’t look at the list and just jumped straight to the Bert-Sam parallels

We will write it off as an excess of holiday cheer! Or perhaps holiday beer. Either one works.
