I need some hope going into the 2016 season. It just seems like our best offensive years and best defensive years just can't align.

If we don't, are we really sold on Bert as our head coach? Every SEC West team except us has had a 10 win season in the past 3 years. I don't feel like 10 wins is so much to ask from a coach we are paying this much.

Now's not the time for pumping sunshine for next season. Right now we are in mild letdown/await and see mode. Mild letdown due to all the talent we're seeing graduating/entering the draft, and we're waiting to see how this recruiting class looks when the ink is dry.

Once spring practice starts we'll start getting some practice reports which will most likely be talking about how great Juan Day looks, how Walker looks fast than ever, how we have twice as many good LB's as we had last year, and how we have 4 QB's who could start anywhere in the SEC except Ole Miss. Then we'll watch the Spring game and the first team offense will go off, and all our concerns about RB depth, offensive line play, and QB play will greatly subside. We'll then overvalue our team, take a look at the schedule which has almost all the toughest games at home, and say "hey! there's 10 wins there!"

I'll convince you we'll win 8 regular season, go to a well respected bowl, sign another solid recruiting class, and continue to build the most consistently competitive program we've had since we joined the league.

No offense but this is a stupid thread 2 days after the bowl when guys are just now declaring if they are staying or leaving, we don't know who's gonna be the qb, etc.

I think we just let anyone have access to our board.

I think the only person left that will prolly declare is Collins. We have been hyping Enos so much, does it really matter which of the 4 QBs wins the job?

As we all know, there are major questions (mostly on offense) going into next season.

1. Will a QB step up and be effective?

2. Running back - depth could be an issue, experience certainly will be. Probably no Collins. Maybe no Walker. RWIII not guaranteed. That leaves Whaley (assuming he signs), Day, Evans and to some degree, Hammonds.

3. Offensive line depth - pretty thin.

Of course, this recruiting class in not complete and we could get another high level RB that could help, but not counting on any OL's we sign coming in and helping right away.

I feel a 6-7 win season coming on.

Convince me that we'll ever win 10 games as long as Saban is coaching Bama

What a strange question from a hog fan. Yes, it will matter. As far as I can tell Enos is pretty much universally liked among hog fans however as has been proven in recent years you must have a good qb not just one hyped to be good or at least a kickass defense with a decent qb to have much success in the sec. More than likely we won't have the latter so we better hope for the former.

Correct.

College basketball is all about the coach. Lon Kruger has OU ranked up at the top. There was a lot of thrashing about in Oklahoma when he was hired, but he's always been a solid coach.

There's no reason that Arkansas shouldn't have a better team than Oklahoma 95% of the time.

Convince me that the basketball team will win 10 games THIS season.

Well, we have three OoC gimmes, and we play three conference teams that are absolute dumpster fires. That should be easy Bowl eligibility right there.

Then we have Florida, who is almost as bad as aTm, Missouri, and Auburn. If we haven't had such horrible luck with Florida, I'd say we should win that game handily, especially since its at home.

The only for sure losses I see are Alabama and @TCU. Ole Miss and LSU are going to be stout, but I think we can beat LSU in Fayetteville this year.

I'm not sure if we're going to get 10 wins, but I think 9–4 is doable. That's improvement upon last year. We're seeing some steady trends that I like under Bielema, and that's what matters to me.

argument for 10 wins:
3 wins from the nobodys assuming we take care of business
1 win from TCU assuming defense improves and offense doesn't drop off the face of the earth.

Ole Miss is rebuilding
Auburn is a dumpster fire
Gators seem like they really need a good QB to not be terrible and their pro style attack will match up well with our defense.
Mizzou will be breaking in a new coach
We get LSU at home
State lost their entire offense(dak)

Bama will give us a good game but they will lose several key players to the draft we might catch them before they gel.
Texas AM is a dumpster fire.

There you have it we're officially undefeated.
