So, here we are having a break for these players and fans finally. I used to hate Bye weeks. I am going to relish this one, because something has to change...

When Pittman was asked about the change of coaches, he said, "I don't want to comment" and he also said, "Something needs to change, the fans and team deserve better" No... I did paraphrase a bit, but this is what happened...

Then, we have even Mike Irwin calling for KJ to be benched and give another Qback an opportunity. That KJ missed wide open receivers, and had time. And that Enos has to change something or be changed...

Always ... always, always .. in Arkansas, when the media begins to openly question things bluntly, they have been given the green light to do so. It is here. What changes first?

OC change? Not sure how, unless you let Jimmy have a go at it... QB change??? What...

I am at the point that Pittman needs to go regardless at the end of the season. But what happens following these things happening?

What I would like to happen is... KJ, see ya bud. Set for a quarter and give someone else a try. Let him read the writing that Nil is not end all...be all. You must perform. Earlier in the season Drew and I both agreed, that this is unlikely to happen because of the $$$ tied to him from sponsors, etc. But by now, this should change.

Enos needs to get right quickly or be sent packing prior to the season being over. Between his interaction with fans, and his daughter having screenshots of her speaking to a boy about "Dan not caring anymore" and being derogatory concerning Arkansas... His seat is already a bit hot with the AD office.

Ok, ok, TLDR... Just spitballing here!

Oh man, I must've missed this one. Where are you seeing this stuff?

Enos not wanting to be here and his players seeing it/feeling it would explain a LOT about their performance

It was all over the 247 board a few days back. I think it got deleted.

Enos shouldn't be here if he doesn't believe in being here and moving the program forward, then. An assistant that's never called plays before but is looking for his big break deserves to have the chance over that mess.

And I fully believe that we should go ahead and see what Criswell and Singleton can do - why not at this point? Pittman would almost be dumb not to give it a shot right now as a dead man walking - if either one look good it'll give him a slightly longer leash for potentially coaching another year and give that QB confidence going into their tenure as the next starter. Really nothing to lose by giving it a shot.

It's a tough decision to bench your multi-year starter QB that has most of the NIL money coming his way, as well as letting your recent OC hire go in the middle of the season... But this is what needs to happen for the future of the program no matter what.

There's a slim chance it might actually save Pittman's job at this point, but if it doesn't then at least he's done the honorable thing in helping to prepare for the future on his way out. He'd be looked at much more favorably historically if he sacrificed these last few games to set up the program going forward with or without him by making these cold blooded, but necessary moves.

In my dream scenario he sends Enos packing, starts Criswell or Singleton from here on out, and the offense is run under very basic playcalling from an assistant but plays with their hair on fire for their new leader(s) and doesn't look completely lost and inept. We probably still lose out other than FIU, but the QB between the two has confidence going into next year and we get a whole new offensive coaching staff - either with a new HC or Pittman getting another shot.

If attendance was this bad coming of a month long road trip it may be empty after losses to Florida and Auburn when FIU comes to town.

Even your big money folks in the north end zone aren’t showing up anymore. The heat will ratchet up from here on out. No way they win in the swamp and Auburn will beat us.

FIU comes to town in what history will call “The Buyout Game” where 5 million dollars is on the line.

We love Sam be he ain't it. Getting a new coordinator shouldn't save his job because of how horrible the oline is. That's his area. You need to have your area of expertise sowed up.

Another bad offense coordinator hire next year would have us in the same spot.

Is that pic really from yesterday? Did it fill in after that? I didn’t get to watch much of the game so wasn’t paying attention.

Pittman isn’t going anywhere.
A QB change probably needs to happen, but it won’t because KJ has the most experience.
Change the offensive line coach and give the other new coaches a full offseason to improve. We’ll be better next year

Our fans love to overreact

The new defensive coaches are not shite
Our tight ends have done really well
Enos is ok, wide receivers have been open, KJ is the problem there.
Lack of time to develop KJ is the real problem I suspect.
Improving the offensive line would cure most of what ails us tbh.

I truly do not understand how you can watch these games and think this. Sure the wide receivers may be open occasionally but we’ve plummeted from the 7th ranked rushing attack last year to 116th this year. That’s absolutely unheard of to have that drastic of a shift. The fact that Enos can’t even scheme around the talent we do have is an easy sign that he needs to go.

In a "must win game" our offense couldn't muster a single touchdown vs. Mississippi freaking State at home during homecoming, widely believed to be the worst West team before yesterday and the 111th ranked defense. Players quit all over the field and gave minimal effort, to the point that my wife that knows nothing about football was noticing it. Sam admitted he had no idea what to do during a live game situation that was pivotal to the outcome. Our Oline is still terrible, we couldn't even muster 100 yards passing and I don't think we've had 100 yards rushing in any game this year.

It's not just that we're losing games, it's HOW we're losing games. This team is in a nosedive and you have to find a way to pull up before the program smashes into the ground for the long term.

Saying our offensive play calling has been handicapped because we can’t run the ball is a massive understatement.

It’s like fans want to pretend the handicap doesn’t exist and the offense should be good regardless.

Is no one responsible for those issues?

Your commentary around the team sounds like it’s “just the weather”.

Like the weather, I can’t control what happens on the team.
