He has lost games, but he didn't bag a tv reporter, begin his own mafia, start a campaign to harm other people with the media, and Nutt up like we have seen in the past. He didn't pull a harlot on a Harley episode, lie to his bosses, hire his mistress...
Let him go, keep our dignity. Pulling a Tenner will get us nowhere.

But he did pocket $4M a year and in return gave us some of the shittiest Razorback football in our lifetimes. And he didn't just simply fail to meet expectations. We had a winless SEC season. We lost to Toledo. Texas Tech made us their bitch. AU set records against us. We have lost 5 P5 games in a row and were not competitive in two of them (TCU and USC). He hasn't delivered any part of what we paid $4M/year for. He wasted our time and resources, and to get rid of him we have to pay him another $10M+. While I'm not going around editing wiki pages, I don't find it unexpected or beneath our fanbase. Hell, I think Long and Bert have had it pretty frikin easy.

Agree... However, I want the next, hopefully great coach, to see our passion without our absolutely stupidity showing to the hilt.

That's because we're a largely docile, compliant fan base that doesn't demand excellence (or good, for that matter).
Jeff Long absolutely broke this fan base. We're so used to mediocrity to the point where people are just now getting on board with firing Bielema despite one of the worst five year stretches in program history. We make excuses for bad assistant hires (*cough* Anderson), poor play, bad play calling, and nonexistent player development. We have the memory of a goldfish when it comes to mind-bogglingly bad losses.
Fans protested a .500 SEC coach outside the BAC a decade ago. Where are the vocal protests now? Where's the heat on Jeff Long? Where are the BOT members? Where is the school pride of the alumni? Where's the damn media?
