Guys, fwiw, they are working in giving board admins the ability to add or remove posters. I have access here as the Mizzou board admin, as your admins have to the Mizzou board.
Posting on a team board is a privilege that can and will be removed at that board's admins discretion if the privilege is abused. The team boards are for discussions about that specific team, and as our states border and we will be playing each other, some Mizzou posters have a general interest in Arkansas, and vice versa. And we'd like to be able to have legit discussions without the nonsense of the rant. It's no more complicated than that.
We enjoy the Arky posters we've added to our board, and have had no issues at all. I believe you would see the same result. But it is obviously your decision.

We felt it best to be very selective until the ability to ban immediately is given to the admins. The voting crap became a big hassle because everyone had their different views on this.
It's on the table and I don't think it's long before admins here will have that ability. Either way, I don't think there's any intention to add anyone and everyone. There's a reason this is the Arkansas board.

I don't recall saying anything about letting everyone on board, I simply enquired as to why this board was closed off.
You say "selective", I wonder what selection process some of you are using when you've granted hg access, and kills has been denied what, 3 times?
I do understand the reluctance of board admin in this matter, without the ability to ban. I'm just a little perplexed at the rational of a couple of the decisions that have been made so far.

Guess you missed the voting thread. But like I said, that turned out to be a clusterfrick bc no one agrees on the issue. But that's what happened there. hg was voted in, kills was not.

That's why I said that I don't understand the logic. I know there was a vote. Hey, Obama was elected and then reelected, still doesn't make sense.

I went through and read the pleas the get access to this board. The only two i'd support as of now are cheese grits and reedus23. The rest all sound like whiny bitches especially Hugo lately, I wasn't a fan of him being kicked off for shite talking on the rant but after reading his whiny arse stuff I'm glad he didn't have a chance to emo cry over here when someone else picked on him.

Everyone has different thoughts and opinions about other posters. I can't control the vote, it's just how it turned out.

I have no problem with voting people in, but I do have a problem with a random LSU fan saying he wants access to our board because he lives in Fayetteville in the request thread on the Help board. He got access without a vote. Nothing personal about that poster, I just think whatever process there is should be followed consistently.
I got a slim margin of victory on a vote for the Mizzou board a while back, but could never get the admins to actually grant me access. A lot of this access stuff just seems to be at the whim of whatever particular admin is paying attention at the time.

We did not request that guy. We haven't requested anyone since the vote in of hg and the ones participating in the college football fantasy league.

Sorry, should have been clear - by "admin," I didn't mean you guys. Was referring to the Help Board admins. They're the ones who seem to inconsistently apply the rules.

Yeah, for now only Chicken or Circus Child can add posters and I figure we just let them do whatever they want.
But as far as I know, they aren't adding any more outsiders without specific requests from board admins now.
