Who's future position was occupied by the guy just to inside of him.
The 2003 Football team was the biggest collective waste of talent for football.
Several years can be debated for baseball.

His high school highlight video is literally one of the best I've ever seen. Like Reggie Bush level.

The OP is the biggest waste of 'talent' that I can think of. DVH is a good guy..and a good coach.

You said it "good" not "great".

Hard to name somebody I'd pick over him.

Tony LaRussa, Bobby Cox, Joe Torre and maaaaaayyybbeeeee Terry Francona. I'm on the fence on that one.

Ronnie Wingo. I don't know if it was a waste or just dude didn't have the IT factor. I remember the vibe around the fanbase was him being next.

Good Lord not Cox. Dude is lucky to have one title with all the choking he did in October.

Sorry it's the Braves fan in me talking. I may be a bit biased by his awesomeness.

Bobby Cox is a HOF coach, and has a lot of the same issues that DVH had. Great pitching, zero offense. The only difference is that DVH had control who he brought to the team, while Bobby had to rely on John Schuerholz

Cox won his division and league on the reg, something DVH does not do, it isn't unreasonable to expect more sec championships than one in his second year with the talent he's had and support that is given to his program...

Dude, YOU AREN'T GOING TO CONVINCE US TO BE STUPID

You do realize we play in the toughest baseball conference in America and the gap is 10x larger than it is in football. Florida vandy lsu both Mississippi schools and South Carolina are all top 30 programs.

The problem with this is that there are also like 5 other teams in our conference who recruit among the best in the country and are top in the nation in attendance every year with us.
We aren't LSU or Georgia football fans that get mad because we win but don't win as much as Saban at Alabama

And Arkansas has more players in the big leagues than any other SEC school.
Just shows DVH is a recruiter not a manager/coach. I would say he just tosses the ball to the mound and says "have it boys" but he meddles with the line-up to often in a counter productive way for that to work.

LOL Butler was the recruiter and now Vitello is.
DVH is in charge of this offensive juggernaut.
