DMAC - yeah he was used, but he wasn't used effectively, no championships, but he did atleast play for one. You could probably name 30 coaches that would have won atleast the sec with the 2006 team.
Benny - like DMAC he is in the "once in a generation" conversation, again no championships and he had a year of greatness wasted via a redshirt.

Benintendi had hamstring and wrist injuries during freshman year. Stayed in weight room that summer. Draft eligible sophomore won every award out there except d1baseball dot com because they gave it to Swanson.
Your vendetta with DVH is asinine.

Korliss Marshall wasted his own talent.

Fatass Bert / Fatass Jim Chaney 2014
2014 offense - Brandon Allen, Alex Collins, Johnathan Williams, Hunter Henry, AJ Derby, Keon Hatcher, Denver Kirkland, Sebastian Tretola, Dan Skipper, etc...
2014 Defense - FOUR NFL players, an awful lot at Arkansas. Top ten national defense.
Final Record - 7-6 (2-6)

This is asinine. Wasting talent would be using D-MAC as a 2-down back and only a 2-down back. We used him in pretty much every offensive scenario outside of offensive line. It got to the point his junior year where he was touching the ball in some capacity about 90% of the time. The fact that we didn't have a QB worth a shite at the time doesn't mean we wasted his talent. Korliss Marshall was a wasted talent. We are probably wasting Duwop's talent. But we pretty much got everything we could have out of D-MAC.
Regarding Benintendi. First of all, he didn't redshirt. Second of all, if you use your argument, the Angels should win the World Series every year because they have potentially one of the best players of all time on their roster. We had decent pitching that year, but we don't go to Omaha without Benintendi on that team.
So no, neither of those guys were wastes of talent.

Bobby Portis.
Oh no, that's not right.
I forgot about the Wofford win.
Which is weird since I have a 50 by 60 painting memorializing the victory in my living room.
