Amazing, a young man loses his life way to soon and all you can think about is how Bielema would exploit this for his own agenda?

frick man, I don't even know what to say to you.

frick.

RIP, that is really awful news.

quote:

I mean I guess? I'm defending Altee and his decision and think it was wrong for what Brett and fans have said in the past regarding kids leaving, specifically him.

Simply bringing up the point that there are bigger things in life and stuff like this can always happen, so keep it in perspective when someone decides to play freaking football at another school.

If that's my agenda, then hell yes I am pushing it. I guess I could have delivered it better but it's just a message board, I didn't know this was his virtual memorial service.

Not sure why people think its so wrong to discuss issues when tragedies happen. But thats just me I guess. I'll let it at that and wish the best for his family and hope he finds peace in the next life.
You're fricking stupid and you're projecting your stupidity onto Bielema. He hasn't done what you think he'll do and you're a dumbass for bringing it up in this thread which should be about Altee Tenpenny.

AND... one thing that has occurred to me in all of this, Why the put downs, name calling, berating on a thread expressing condolences?

At any moment in time, any of us could be gone from this earth. Let us consider what the last words we want anyone to read, hear for us before we proceed please.

Just some consideration!

It's a terrible story and no use going on about other things. I apologize but I stand by my point that people should always watch what they say about kids leaving the state.

In the grand scheme, its not that big of a deal and terrible shite like this can happen at any time.

Just look at the last thread created about him on here.. That was my point, apologies for delivering it the way I did.

I really don't think Bert ever "trashed" Tenpenny when he left, and I challenge you to find an article or quip where he insults him. Saying kids shouldn't leave the state and they won't be welcomed back if they do is far from trashing anyone, just the hard-nosed recruiting attitude he feels he needs to take when dealing with players who think the grass is greener on the other side. It usually really isn't.

As far as the fans trashing him. I think the first time I ever did this was when he got kicked off of the Nicholls State team, his third team in like a single year. That was just days ago. I called him a massive frick-up and a loser, as did others on here. At the time, it seemed like he kind of deserved it for not being able to make a single right decision in his life.

I don't know about them, but I feel like a real arse right about now. Just the worst person on the goddamn planet. it's pretty clear now that he just had a problem that he needed help with and couldn't find the help. So, I publicly apologize right now for saying that. I'm a grown man who should have known better. I don't know the details of this whole thing, but with his football career being over and criminal charges pending, I just hope this crash wasn't intentional in some way.

before Bert's last presser a reporter can be heard telling him Tenpenny got arrested again. bert asks what for, and doesn't look pleased in anyway. he recruited the kid and I'm sure doesn't find anything in anyway good about this. say what you want about bert but he really does care about kids.

Yeah I'm always surprised when people act like he doesn't care about the kids. If you pay enough attention to him, it's beyond obvious that he does.

one of the reasons I really like the guy. I genuinely like him as a person. idc that he is fat honestly. I mean I do, but I don't judge anyone for anything usually. I know alot of good people who have done some questionable things and I don't let it define them. I don't let Bert's weight define him either. even though it defines his shape (round). in saying that I feel that he is a very well-rounded (see what I did there :D) person morally and ethically. I really am hoping the guy succeeds here but this weekend is a must win in my head on how I'll feel about him as a coach. he could lose this one and win the rest and that might help, but he really needs to beat this auburn team or he may never do it.

I hate to hear this. During the recruiting process he always had a nice smile and attitude and was very respectful towards Arkansas even though he chose to leave the state.

RE: STLhog's stupid fricking bullshite rambling about something that hasn't happened and won't happen.

When people hear about some sad and shocking news the last thing they want to see is negativity being thrown around especially when it's all make believe and completely unrelated to the terrible news. A kid died. A human being passed away. It hasn't even been a day. Take your axe that you're grinding and frick your face with it.

Good post ^^^^^ and I agree.

STLhog must be one of those people that are happy when we lose, or ecstatic when inevitably something trivial happens like a bad play call during a game. He then rushes to get on his computer/phone (if he isn't already) to post "I told you so!" along with the other people bitching so he can finally fit in with a crowd. So much of this repeated process has lead to a quick "trigger finger" when it comes to bad things happening, as seen here. It takes a special level of crazy "darksider" paranoia to think CBB would come out and say something about this relating to football in general, let alone a remark about his death having to do with not coming to Arkansas.

Back on topic:
I feel for Tenpenny's family and friends, it's always extra hard to lose someone to such a normal, everyday activity like driving - especially when that person is young. The guilt and "what if he left a split second earlier/later, what if I hadn't asked him to come see me, what if this or that hadn't happened, what if...." scenarios will haunt those that love him for a long time. Hopefully they can find peace and solace at some time in the near future. I really hope no part of this was intentional, if so its only that much sadder to think that he couldn't escape his demons and realize that football does not equal life.

Make sure you cum quickly, though. Not sure how long one can take getting fricked in the face with an axe.
