All scrub minutes but 10/14 144 yds 1 TD, and ran 3 times for 27 yds.

Had a game winning TD dropped in the end zone.

He looked really good.

I don't see Bortles keeping the starting spot. Maybe he can get some PT this year. Henne looked pretty good as well.

He's been their best QB all preseason

Marrone said he would be open to starting him in his post game presser

It's a long shot but Arkansas could potentially have two opening day starters at QB in the league

Bortles hasn't even led the offense to a TD this preseason. Allen has looked really good! If Bortles can't get it going I see Allen playing in the future pretty soon.

Tony Romo syndrome... doesn't matter how great BA looks in the preseason, they won't give him a shot until injuries force them to.

Who would have ever thought BA would be competing for a starting job, or even ever make an NFL roster until Enos came on board?

honestly the 3 years before Enos was the best thing that could have happened to him

he's not going to succeed becuase he's physical;ly superior to anyone. he's mentally tougher than probably any QB in the league.

losing 17 straight SEC games
having your truck burned

makes you tough. he'll make it. he'll make it big. i'm sure of it. there is a base line physical talent level you have to have in the NFL and he has that and more. he has it upstairs.

He is physically tough as well. So is his brother.

I heard though that maronne wants a prototypical QB. 6'6 230. Brandon isn't that, but eventually they have to look at who's moving the ball.

Heard today that Henne will start getting work with the starters.

Damn shame they payed Bortles so much money, BA might have a chance.

that's what makes shite organizations shite.

the cowboys cut romo when it was clear they had a better chance with dak. fricking romo. and the jags will not let go of a guy who has never led the team to a winning record

kind of seems like lip service to fans. in the same presser:

quote:

Jaguars HC Doug Marrone said his team's starting QB job is up for grabs, waiting for Blake Bortles or Chad Henne to win it.

he also said when preseason started that henne was firmly second string and allen was third.

for whatever reason, he seems totally convinced it's a two man battle.
