An update to tonight... I was highly persuaded to go to Ropers by one of y'all's own,, and what to order,, by gosh, big arse chicken fried steak, mashed taters and green beans. I said hayull no,, I wanted Bobby q or a decent steak and I wasn't changing my mind!!
So anyway, when they brought the big arse chicken fried steak, it was supposed to be soooo big, that it came on its own separate plate. Long story short,, verrry small frozen piece of meat that the piece of toast was wayyyy bigger than,, canned green beans, instant runny mashed taters, and something like Sysco watered down gravy.
Ms licious,, I should have went to toad sucks bucks or, the hog pen. After giving my report to y'all's own,,, my report is,,,,Ropers must have changed owners and cooks, and policies, cause nothing was like what was previously described.
But, I had a good time taking a ribbing about my shirt and my phone case,, they were ganging up and getting on me pretty bad,, so, I had no other choice than to pull out the big gun! Gal said, "it's a pretty shirt, but it could have anything else on it, other than the letters LSU". I calmly replied,, "well, would it be better if it had the letters T O L E D O on it? It took em' back for a minute, then shook their heads and laughed,,,, good time with em' tonight.. Not great food, good folks, thanks Greenbrier.

I've done purple cow in LR,, does remind me of the 50's,, except we didn't have as many wild colors then,,, unless you went on a "trip"?
Your memory is getting worse than mine. Trippin was 60's and 70's but the 50's was stone cold heavy drinkin.

This is twice we've given you solid advice only for you to end up at crapholes. We are going to have to stop giving you advice.
More and more country restaurants have fallen trap to the frozen food bug. It's just too convenient and cheap for owners who don't really care that much about food quality.

You tried to pay with your louisiana purchase card didn't you?
Plus you were wearing an LSU shirt.
Its your own fault these things happen to you.
