Wow. She works for KARK? What an idiot.

Our local guys make fun of the Cowboys in jest constantly, but
they would have to go in hiding if they did that.

I haven't allowed myself to buy in to the hype of close games and moral victories etc. this year bc,...well, I've been an AR fan for a long time and I know better.

My son, he's 8, loves stats. He tells me before games why we are going to win based on how we should have already beaten 2 of the 3 top 5 teams we've played, referencing stats etc.

Anyhow, the groundwork for this blowup was laid against AL. We have the ball in 4th qtr with a chance to win BA throws int. he wasn't happy, but he doesn't get too excited or too down ever.

Now this game comes along. #1 team away game. We have the ball and at least a chance to force ot or win. A couple of bad passes. Henry comes up big. 1st and 10 from the 16yd line!! He looks at me and says, "See?..I told you." And then, BA throws int on the next play. I felt terrible for him. If I had a video of the blow up he had, it would have made the ole miss girl look normal.

So, I can see the hurt for younger AR fans, but just like a roller coaster, we are at the bottom right now...on the way up. This was the best explanation I could give him.

My heart hurts for your son. I've lived this misery of being a Razorback every moment of my life that I have memory of.

He's only 8, it's too late for him to switch teams, he'll just have to learn to accept disappointment as a way of life like paying taxes, obeying the law, being nice to people, and getting his heart broken by the Hogs.

So why does it seem like only the really good players end up getting suspended by the team or the NCAA in mid-season? Why can't Brandon Allen get into some kind of trouble?

I agree with CV that he does look kind of rapey. Someone should really look into that.

Coaches poll is out. I still feel sad seeing Marshall and Duke ranked. Good for them but damn.

Poor kid. I know exactly how he feels. I was 7 when 1998 Tennessee happened. Might be the hardest I ever cried. Used to act like my best friend just died after ever Razorback loss. It took the 2010 Sugar Bowl to finally make me jaded.

You aren't a true Hog fan until you believe... no... BELIEVE... only to be proven utterly wrong.

Still we come out, support the team, and hope for the best. The Terminator ain't got nothing on us.

My first moment like that was the 1995 basketball championship game. I bawled.

I was 13 the year of that Tennessee loss, and I came damn close to crying. That was utter devastation for a teenager who'd fallen head over heels for Hog football years before and had gone through the perils of the Ford era.

One of things I found so attractive about my wife when we met in college was that she would talk about how she sobbed for hours after that Tennessee loss. I knew then that I'd found a keeper.

1988 Miami game Atwater drops the interception in the end zone.

Got divorced after the 2010 Bama game. The wife had an epic melt in the stands and it went downhill from there.

2006 SEC championship game. Fish is at the 15 yd line. # 1 rule as a punt returner...If you are at the 15 and you have to back up AT ALL to catch the ball..get the hell out of the way instead.

I had 50 yd line 10th row seats to that game because I BELIEVED!

Damn you Reggie Fish. I wouldn't allow my son to wear #1 jersey in football because it makes my stomach turn when I see a #1 jersey.
