Yep, dude's got a new family and seems like a perfectly nice guy that was sincerely trying to build the program 'the right way'. shite didn't work out...let him transition out with some class.

It's like a bad marriage. In the beginning she seems totally great but later down the line you realize you are 2 totally different people. It doesn't mean she's a bad person. Sometimes shite just doesn't work out.

Agreed.
Nutt was a shithead con artist who knew how to negotiate the political landscape of the state and curry favor with the power brokers, and it's the primary reason he was here for a decade.
Bert is just a clueless, stubborn, lazy bumbling dumbass.
Nutt was a cancer that took years and effort to eradicate, whereas Bert is just a boil on our arse that we can get lanced fairly quickly.

I'm in complete agreement with you guys.
In the Nuttster's case the plane-flying and other actions were almost necessary because the powers that be on the hill just weren't listening and would have kept him there forever. The fanbase desperately wanted something new and there was a disconnect with Broyles and company.
The majority of fans are only howling about Bielema this year. Bielema hasn't been a smug, pompous jerk like Nutt was he's a very likable guy. The SEC just isn't for him. Its sad really because his personality really does fit.
