Media got to watch practice today. Apparently our defense looks incredible. 247 says the starters right now look to be Black, Smith, Council, Brazile and Makhi Mitchell.

Council the only surprise, many had Devo and some had Walsh.

Walsh and Devo off the bench is pretty nasty though.

Doesn't matter this early... We've struggled to establish a good rotation each of the last two seasons, before getting a solid one and going on a run.

The international play that allows us 10 extra practices is huge.

You're looking the most talent maybe ever assembled at one time in Arkansas basketball.

No doubt, May-Day and Miller were salty as well.

Go watch the end of Black, NSJ, and Brazile's presser when they start talking about how athletic this team is.

They all said straight up that Ricky Council is a monster.

NSJ said he can stand flat-footed under the rim and execute a under-the-leg dunk.... At only 6'4"-6'5" ish.

Smith said he thought he was athletic until he got around Council. Even Brazille, who is a freak of nature in his own, just laughed at how fcrazy good Council is.

RC4 is going to be one of the absolute steals of the portal. He's probably going to beat out a potential lottery pick/1st rounder in Walsh for the starting Wing, at least ersly in the year.

Video of practice was legit as hell.

White team started abusing the red team.

We stacked

4 minutes of highlights from today's Arkansas Basketball practice (cause nobody needs 26 minutes of unedited video).

Guess I'm the strange one cause I watched the whole thing

A few things that stood out

-Smith doesn't look super fast with the ball but almost always gets the defender on his hip.

-No matter who is running the point during the game, (Black, Smith, Devo, etc) all are great passers

-Dunning and Pinion looked really comfortable during the scrimmage. I know both probably won't see much time but hope they stick around for a long time.

-Walsh looked gassed for part of that scrimmage but did have a nice dunk off a pass from Smith

-If RCIV develops a consistent jump shot, look out

Don't really need to mention the defense/length or athleticism of this team, been done enough

I think that’s just his normal body language. Those freakishly long arms don’t have anywhere to go

IDK, he was breathing really hard compared to others

A few of the people there pointed it out as well. Doesn't mean its an actual issue but noticed it too.

I appreciate all of you for keeping us up to date on basketball, I’m excited for the potential of this team.

If Muss can take the prior teams as far as he has then the sky is the limit this year.
