UCLA was his first big offer back when Noel Mazzone was on the west coast. LINK

Noland has a link to Dennis Gile where he trained at The Quarterback Academy (@TheQBAcademy).

Did someone put a sign up on the state saying everyone's invited in? I don't feel like I've ever seen this many schools offering Arkansas kids this early.

This. Something seems fishy

Might be something to what razor posted earlier about other schools offering just to pressure Arkansas into spending resources recruiting various players.

I do think this is a feasible explanation. It seems like there is a concerted effort to tear apart anyt cohesion they can with Arkansas. Raiding coaches and swiping recruits is a good way to do that. I don't know if they're afraid of what Bert can do with elite talent/coaches or they just don't respect the program at all and think they can bulldoze over us.

I would think LSU is getting the idea that they can't bulldoze over us. Whether they admit it or not, there was genuine fear that we might get White and Fulton away from them this past class.

I think more than likely they are just trying to better their individual programs by picking up talent that doesn't have a history of staying in state consistently and getting good assistant coaches to work with who match their brand of football.

There aren't a whole lot of successful non-spread OCs on the table which makes enos a very hot commodity.

Jennings was looking and went back home for a job.

Pittman wanted to work with Chaney and could pretty much get a job anywhere he pleases.

Singleton and Thomas both got NFL position coach jobs which speaks to their abilities to coach.

Michael Smith is doing very well in louisianna recruiting because of his connections and LSU lost their louisianna guy so of course they came after him.

As for in state recruits, we used to offer tons of kids early. That's only changed under Bielemma. It used to be a recruiting advantage for us to be a kids first offer. It made us competitive with in state schools at times under Petrino. It's a great strategy and one that I'm quite frankly disappointed that we aren't using anymore.

I don't think it has anything to do with that.

May be just a misunderstanding of a question he was asked going on here... don't scratch him off just yet until things are cleared up a little.

Lol no kidding. He got burned big time on that one.

Although Otis had something equally as bad IMO but he just didn't tweet his mistake.

Seemed out of left field. I saw it probably 20 seconds after he tweeted.

This is why grown men should not be following 17 year olds on twitter.

Not Fulton but definitely White. Fulton's dad on the recruiting board was all LSU.

Yeah Fultons dad was not even remotely shy about his thoughts son LSU which is why I personally never thought he would end up elsewhere.

I highly doubt we ever challenge LSU for the top tier instate guys that they want but I'm perfectly happy if we can start beating out the other SEC schools for that next group of players.

I agree, especially with the much better coaching, and game planning that we had.

However, another crap show like LSU had this season and we may start getting some of those players as well.

I cant imaging going to play for Les after what just transpired. This isn't a slam on LSU as much as on the Admin/Coaching. LSU will always have talent unless that talent figures out that there is a major issue... and it seems to be systemic

Montaric Brown of Ashdown has received an offer from Alabama...that now makes him having offers from both LSU and Alabama and no Arkansas offer.

Also a couple O Lineman are really talking up Kurt Anderson and will try to make visits... per Davenport.

[link=(Aaron Banks)]https://247sports.com/Player/Aaron-Banks-75957[/link] - I pass his school every day. Probably a hard sell but if he visits you never know. It would help if there were direct flights from the bay area to XNA.
