I know Bielema doesn't do this a whole lot but I'd love to see us use him as a wildcat QB a few times a game

The Tevin Bush one surprised me. We really need 2 RB's in this class and yet he was the second RB they offered. They must think really highly of him to bypass all of the big name guys in front of him.
I would really like to get Wallow and Singleton out of that group. It would be nice to get them on camp this spring or early summer.

Is the feeling on barnes that he'll be a WR? He's big enough to run the ball out of the backfield or could be by the time he makes it here.

He said he'll be in the slot and return KOs.

LSU has offered Ashdown Safety Montaric Brown...also has offers from Ok State and Arkansas State.

This seems to be getting a little ridiculous when these powerhouse schools are offering in state guys well before us. Also, maybe the 2017 in state talent might be better than we all though.

Idk it's been pretty standard for Bielema to offer in state guys when they come on visits or at camps unless he's in complete panic mode.

Our coaches have been on vacation and Bielema also was on the Nike coaches trip.
History shows we've offered early (Agim, Jones, Capps, etc) but it's obvious they want to do some due diligence with guys in-state in the 2017 class.
OOS schools can throw out offers and later say it's not committable or rescind it not facing the PR backlash but in-state schools have to get to know the kid. Everything must be 100% vetted. Can't offer early then not honor down the road.
I've wondered about other schools offering with no intention of taking the player but almost pressuring the in-state school to spend resources recruiting that player and then offer. It would be a way to force a commitable offer from the in-state school while OOS could be uncommittable.
Also it's freaking February. Some of these guys have never attended a camp or visited.

I doubt they aren't already acquainted with these kids they are interested in by now.

So the story we're going with is that we just haven't gotten around to inspecting the talent yet? Reality says this is going to be a weak recruiting cycle in arkansas and we're looking elsewhere for real talent and will come back home after being rejected/picking up a few kids.

Illinois and KState have offered WR Josh Johnson of Maemelle. He's committed to Indiana.
That makes Illinois, KState, Notre Dame, Iowa State, Vandy, and NCST in the last week.

A Fayettevile coach told Otis last week that, despite not offering yet, Arkansas is in constant communication with Byers and recruiting him harder than anyone else.

Did someone put a sign up on the state saying everyone's invited in? I don't feel like I've ever seen this many schools offering Arkansas kids this early.
