ESPN rates Brown the No. 11 safety and No. 180 overall prospect in the nation. He had 112 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 8 pass deflections, a forced fumble and 5 interceptions with 3 returned for touchdowns last season.
He plans to announce his college decision on his birthday, August 24.

to answer the question posted on the rant re: ever seen or been part of cheating...
i graduated from the same east texas HS the same year as a player who was a RB during the nutt years. the local ETX arkansas booster would take us out to dinner and slip us $20s. he did it to all UA students, so it was substantively different than a booster paying off a player just for being a player.
i know a dude who worked at a liquor store who would comp all the players free beer/liquor and give them weed. he was a manager at the place; the owner noticed inventory was way off. owner fired a few new people with no proof and never tied it back to the manager.

Montaric Brown abruptly moved up his decision date from next month to tomorrow. Not sure if that is good for us or not. It's believed to be between us and Bama.
