I would think we have a bigger need for depth at LB than at Rush DE.

He can do both.

It isn't much different than what Saban does with his lbers crowding the line against teams. A "3-4" that will have 4-5 on the line on any given play, the lbs rush the edge.

Really shouldn't be a hard concept to grasp although plenty seem to be struggling.

I get that concept, I was referring to the idea of a full time move, as some have postulated (Bolin, evidently.)

I'm pretty sure that's just folks misconstruing what was said. Hargreaves specifically said he was playing SLB.

Some can't differentiate between a role and a position.

I'm sure some thought the fridge was a fb and watt is a TE because of the roles they had for their teams in certain scenarios.

So if the base D is a 4-3 and in a nickel he's a DE he must be moving to the line full time her der.

Probably so, but here's the direct quote:

“I don’t know - we may move Randy Ramsey to that R position as well.

I'll look for the link....but Wise was the #2 DE behind Bosa in Pro Football Focus calculation last season...No reason why he can't be a 13-15 sack kindof guy this season

I watched the video at the golf tournament...the reason why it was mentioned was because we would be a lot in the Cash package (4-2-5) because the SEC is now a majority spread conference...along with our 4 non-conference foes.

If you watched the Ole Miss game from last season...we had a ton of defenders miss Kelley in the backfield. We need em to put the QB on the ground

The Google machine turns up nothing in my quick search. I would bet that he turns up at a JUCO in a few weeks.

Great win, but the worst exhibition of tackling I have ever witnessed watching the Hogs.

Oh man I forgot how bad it was until I watched it again the other day. Time and again we had him dead to rights in the backfield for what would have been a loss and then next thing you know he's 10+ yards down field running free. Getting those would have completely altered the game.

I'm excited to hear some reports on Cole Kelly.
I think he has the "it factor".
Hopefully he'll sleep with the playbook.

It looks like 6:30 based off of the media availability list that Otis posted on Monday.

quote:

Got this earlier today, but had some things to do at the UA.

Thursday, we get Bret at 12:30 and then that night we get to attend the first four periods of practice at 6:30

Friday, we get Jared Collins, Brooks Ellis, Josh Liddell, Jeremiah Ledbetter and Deatrich Wise Jr at 2:30

Saturday, we get to go to first four periods at 2:25. Then around 4:35 we get Drew Morgan, Austin Allen, Dan Skipper, Jeremy Sprinkle and Kody Walker

That is what I have so far and of course Sunday is Media Day
