Yeah, initially someone said he'd RS this year, but that appears to be wrong, just sitting out because he has to.

But either way, same thing as redshirting for the competition next year. Him and Storey will be even heading in.

Can his nickname be Ricky Ticky Townie?

So what's up with Peavey? I hear next to nothing about him anymore.

He never set himself apart from Austin Allen. If he could have done that he would be the backup QB right now. I bet he transfers somewhere in Missouri.

That Vandy fan REG is going full retard

and he was obviously an overrated prospect, hence his status declining during his recruitment

In response to him spending most of his recruitment as the #1 QB and ending #3.

Not that you would expect him to say anything else, but...

Arkansas quarterback commitment Cole Kelley- Lafayette, (La.) Teurlings Catholic on if Town transfering to Arkansas has an impact on his pledge.

"Absolutely not."

That makes sense. I honestly think a lot of his hype had to do with the fact that he looked decent on film and was always 100% Razorback. But unfortunately the competition is going to get heavy soon. Hope he finds somewhere he can play and impress some folks.

It's nuts how quickly the QB carousel spins. It feels like yesterday we were excited about him committing and now he's a sophomore (edit: or resdshirt frosh?) and to many it looks like he will never be the #1 guy.

I think it's too early to tell with Peavey. I mean this is only his second fall camp. If he doesn't make any progress by next year then maybe you can cut ties with him. But if him and Austin are similar I'd keep him since he's a year younger.

I really don't have any idea how this will shake out. When is the last time we've had a competition like this?

2015 JUCO RB Kendall Williams from NLR had trouble with his paperwork transferring to Iowa State and is now looking at Boise State and Arkansas

He isn't getting into a SEC school with the Juco requirements of the league if he can't get into IowaState CC

yea. bet peavey sticks around biding his time for his shot. now that we have Bert, it's just something guys that are coming to Arkansas will have to expect and I'm sure he knew that.

he may get his shot here or if he doesn't he'll still graduate with a degree from the UofA

if peavy is not gonna be a bonafied starter i'd like to have his own package like bell did at OU. he has a skillset that really no one else has for QB that we have.

Except Belldozer is 6'6 and 250. And Peavey is 5'11 on a bad hair day. I'd rather have a Duwop package.

I hope Town pans out here just so we can use the gifs from workaholics and make Downtown Poundtown jokes and rub it in other fanbases that we're taking them to pound town while we're whipping their asses.

yes, I'm 12 years old.

He has the physical tools but maybe the light hasn't turned on yet. That's the thing about QBs you just never know who has the mental makeup.
Look at Blake Bortles for example. The guy was a three star with some physical ability but didn't really turn into a "player" until he grasped the game mentally.
Sometimes it just takes guys longer to mature mentally if they ever do at all.
