Has Bert address the academic redshirts that will happen starting with the recruiting classes this year?
10 of the 16 core classes have to be completed before the start of senior year, all 16 have to be completed in four years, in other word good bye prep-school true freshmen.
Also the minimum GPA jumps to 2.3 from 2.0.
Zimmerman addressed this a while ago, its a larger problem with basketball recruits, but 40% of the incoming freshmen in 2012 (when it was announced for 2015, then pushed back a year) for football would have had to redshirt for academic reasons.

They have crazy high admission standards for athletes for some reason. It bites then in the arse all the time.
