Kid has Miami offer and committed to us early. That should tell you something about the rapport we are building if Florida.

Iowa OL Jake Heinrich mentioned in an interview that Arkansas plans to expand the stadium to 90,000 next year. I, for one, think that doubling the size of War Memorial is a wonderful idea and I am glad Bielema agrees.

But yeah, 90K is too many seats, IMO. I'd rather have $80K that were slightly more spacious.

Anyone already post where we got a visit from former Purdue QB Danny Etling?

Would have to sit out 2015 but would add another arm to the QB race in 2016

Definitely not a comforting sign about what Enos thinks of the quality of QB's on campus.

Yeah I think Storey is the future. I'm guessing the issue is with little Allen or Peavey.

Not sold on either, however, I'm not a coach.

Agreed, I think ~80k in a smart capacity model is a good size given the size of our fan base, though the expansion to the NEZ will be all club seats, which we don't have a problem filling. I've had

I know it'd never happen, but one thing I wish we'd do is to remove the upper deck bleachers on the East side -- the setting sun in an afternoon game is brutal -- and replace that with like 6 to 8 rows of chair back seating, similar to those Pig Heaven seats on the rim of both the East and West upper decks. It seems like the upper deck corners are almost always empty unless there's a really hot ticket game (e.g. Alabama 2010, LSU 2014). Maybe a way to address that would be to reduce capacity up there and replace it with quasi-premium seating. My season tix were in East upper deck before moving to South Indoor Club a few years ago. The view is worse but the comfort level and experience are far and away better, especially with a 3 year old in tow.

Either way, I like that the expansion plan Long set forth a few years ago as part of the Facilities Master Plan was well-thought out and not just a blind reach to add capacity. They understood that the best way to add capacity was to add premium, in demand seating as opposed to just throwing more bleachers in.

I think we should know our fate tomorrow at being in the Devin White sweepstakes...if he shows for his unofficial visit I say we are still in the Hunt at least

Shea talkin up OM
Probably wants to go to Bama
Dad wants him at LSU
Arkansas needs an imeediate starter at RB

Will we ever be on the right end of a "business decision" or does hat only count towards player payment?
