Seriously? 1, why waste the time on someone that most schools knew had no chance of qualifying? 2, he obviously liked SOMETHING. How hard would it have been to keep contact provided he WAS going to have a chance to continue on at the college level? If he was good enough at some point, why wouldn't you continue courting him until it was impossible? Especially when you're as talent-deprived as we are.

I thought recruiting rankings are inaccurate and just for entertainment or was that just when we underperform?

What's the deal with this kid? Good size, good arm, seems accurate, good footwork and pocket presence, a 4.3 GPA, and his only scholarship offers were S. Illinois and Brown. I'm confuzzed.
