Sounds like we might have started actually giving reverses to the right players. Or more likely Hatcher gets the reverses still with the 1s and Jojo with the 2s

Apparently Hawkins is having a good day. Hopefully on something other than go routes.

Sounded like his big TD was a post route.

@TomMurphyADG: Unofficial: A. Allen 7 of 8, 147 yds 2 TDs, Collins 10 for 70 yds, TD; Hawkins 3-108 w/TD, Morgan 3-49, 2 TD, BAllen 8 of 15, 78 yds, 2 TDs

@SportsTalkwBo: Alex Collins looked good and went through contact. Jonathon Williams didn't participate in contact. Jojo Robinson has unique skills at WR.

@ArkansasFight: Waiting for Bret Bielema to talk following first scrimmage of the spring. Alex Collins had a nice day w/ longs of 15, 16, 17 yards and a TD.

@SportsTalkwBo: Santos Ramirez and Josh Liddell look the part at safety. Ledbetter and Froholdt look ready to play.

@TomMurphyADG: Hogs 82-play scrimmage: no turnovers, 7 "sacks", 5 offensive 5-yard penalties, one pass interference, perfect on FGs/PATs

@TomMurphyADG: Collins' TD was a strong 13-yard tackle breaker in red zone

@RazNation: Bielema: Hatcher out for maybe a week with bruised knee.

@TomMurphyADG: Bielema: says Keon Hatcher bruised knee on Thurs., might miss week or two. Alex Voelzke might be back Tuesday

@RazNation: Bielema: Allen impressive with his throws today.

@SportsTalkwBo: Bielema: Next Saturday's scrimmage will be open to the public. It'll be our biggest scrimmage beside the spring game.

@RazorbackFB: Bielema: We knew @avoxo_egh2 could run. He caught the ball well today.

@RazorbackFB: Bielema: I think @Budda03 has responded really well to @CoachSings. As well as I could have hoped.

@RazNation: Bielema: Collins has responded well to new position coach. Put on some weight in spring break but had solid scrimmage.

@RazNation: Bielema: Austin Allen showed up today. A game day type player.

@SportsTalkwBo: Bielema: Ty Storey is doing a lot of good things. Couldn't be happier w/the backup QBs. Austin Allen & Rafe Peavey are neck-and-neck.

@RazorbackFB: Bielema: One of the best things I've witnessed in football is that tackling circuit that @CoachSmithUA brought in

@RazNation: Bielema: To have a 5th year senior QB is everything I hoped it would be.

@RazorbackFB: Bielema: I wish I had five guys like @iGoHam_45. (Josh Harris)He has tremendous vision. He's explosive. I think there's a role for him here.

@RazNation: Bielema: Enos is a brilliant guy.

@TomMurphyADG: Bielema: "Dan (Enos) is a brilliant guy." The coaches are impressed with the way he's doing things. We're a good team no doubt about that.

@ArkansasFight: Drew Morgan had a good day, too. Caught 22-yard TD and a 10-yard TD from BA.

@RazorbackFB: Bielema: The sky is the limit for @KNARFWONGAR as a sophomore

Anthony Brown and Kendrick Edwards are on "full spring suspension" with a shot to return. Sounds like the kind of thing that Korliss was given and failed at.

@SportsRapESPN: Bielema says that Anthony Brown has been removed from the team. BUT him & Kendrick Edwards has "the door open for them slightly" to return

I love this one.

@RazorbackFB: Bielema: We believe in tight ends. If you're a tight end that can play great football, you should come to Arkansas #WoooPig

Thanks for all the updates. I don't have much time these days to devote to searching for info and you put it all here making it super convenient.

And I'm getting excited now about our upcoming season.

If I remember correctly from the open practice, that makes Storey 8-8 so far for what the media has been able to cover right?

Nice start.

I believe that is correct. It's going to be a hell of a battle next spring when BA is gone.

We knew we were good, but it sounds like we found the pieces we were missing last year to get us over that hump. It's giving me unhealthily high expectations for this year.

That's the most encouraging thing I took from the updates. It's looking like we have a very good, developing crop of backups. I really liked what Austin showed last year, Peavey seems to be neck be neck and neck with him, and Storey is showing a ton of poise and accuracy.

For being a balanced, run-oriented guy when it comes to offense, Bert sure is developing QBs nicely, but don't tell Hogville that.
