It just doesn't seem to fit...much smoke about the dad and wanting to leave another team already

Who knows what the situation at USC is about. Maybe the kid didn't mesh well w/ the team, or had issues w/ the coaching.

I'll say he was smart enough to decommit from Alabama when they hired Kiffin. It seems he wanted to play in the SEC all along but the pull to stay home and play at USC was too great. Sometimes the heart eventually wins out over the head.

If his Dad is problematic, then he needs to be far away and in a place like Arkansas where he can focus on school and football and just be a college kid and not stress about getting NFL paydays.

Bert and Herb will change his attitude and change his life.

The last time Arkansas and SC were in the same discussion over a QB who had the same "issues" in the background, SC got themselves a 3rd string punter who sold fake prescription pills on craigslist as a hobby.

Three Takeaways

1. Oh My, Defensive Line
It’s really remarkable how good the defensive line has been during this fall camp. Everyone wants to talk about the loss of two NFL draft picks but there has seemingly been little to no drop-off. The depth up front is well documented and Razorback Foundation members and the media were able to see just how effective the unit was in Saturday’s scrimmage. That solid play has continued throughout this week and was incredible this evening.

Before the ball is even snapped, the Razorbacks look impressive up front. The starting four average 6-foot-3, 293 pounds. The second four? They measure 6-foot-3.5 and 294 pounds. Think about that for a moment. Then think about having to be an offensive lineman trying to move that guy out of the way. Or a quarterback trying to throw over them.

2. Two Minutes
Despite the excellent play by the defensive line tonight, the offense stepped up when it mattered most – inside two minutes. The ones had the first two-minute drill and methodically moved the ball down the field with a hurried pace. Inside the red zone, quarterback Brandon Allen found wide receiver Jojo Robinson along the left side for a touchdown that capped the day for the first team offense.

The second team got the next set of reps and had similar success. Quarterback Austin Allen hit wide receiver Damon Mitchell on a deep ball for another touchdown. The younger Allen has really impressed with his downfield throws this camp and connected multiple times this evening.

3. Captains
The team voted for captains last night and head coach Bret Bielema announced the team’s selections earlier today. Seniors Brandon Allen and Jonathan Williams will represent the offense while juniors Brooks Ellis and Ja’Michael Winston will lead the defense. Allen is the only returning captain from last year.

I'm really anxious to see what Kody can do.

Out of high school, he wasn't a burner. Kid has always been a bruiser. I just want to see him take care of the ball a bit better. 260lbs is a lot to take down for a defender.

RWIII is who really excites me though. I watched his highlight reel last night and I think we really got a good one in him. Three totally different types of backs that I think will give teams fits.

AC3 gets 1200, Kody gets 600, and RWIII gets 550 and we keep plugging along IMO.

If that's all we get on the ground the season probably won't go like we hope. Those numbers mirror last years production actually a little under.

We should have a better passing game but we should also be a little more explosive and score a bit more and get up and down the field better which would yield more total yardage

I'm planning on our downfield passing being better with the addition of Reed at WR.

I think Enos, plus the added year under Allens belt, plus Reed gives us more of a HR threat passing.

200 yds Rush per game = 2400 yds

I think our passing yds will increase by 30-50 yds per game.

If we hit BB's 200 rush 200 pass everything will be OK.

Yea, that's my thought as well.

I like the addition of Enos in the screen game and downfield passing. Those two added dimensions alone should yield 30-50 more yards a game through the air.

A team that features two backs and a FB should be screening people to death, as long as it ain't Hooties terrible tunnel screen.

One portion of Chaney that was the most mind boggling IMO.

If Mitchell is as good as the reports say, our WR corps won't only be serviceable, but it may even be scary. Arkansas' passing game may be the biggest surprise of the year in the SEC.

I really like to read stuff like this about our players. We have all heard #uncommon, but I just love seeing this attitude in action and not just in a catchy hashtag.

The main thing I noticed today was how they mixed up the personnel. BA would take snaps with the second team offense against the first team defense, and then AA would take snaps with the first team offense against the second team defense. Guess they're just trying to shake things up.

Rawleigh Williams is the real deal. Even without J Will getting injured, we wouldn't have redshirted him this year. Best word I can use to describe him is "electric." He's got a certain spark that you normally don't see in a true freshman.

I would NOT want to try and tackle Kody Walker. When he gets moving, dude is a terrifying hell beast.

Will Gragg working at 2nd team tight end. Didn't see him catch any passes but he's doing pretty good at blocking. Sprinkle looks scary. Another guy I would not want to tackle when he gets going full speed.

Keon made some great catches, one where he had to keep his toes in bounds and do a full extension to keep his toes on the ground and still catch the ball. He's definitely the leader of the WR unit.

Collins participated in drills and took a few snaps, but they're taking it easy on him to be cautious.
