Agreed, especially with the last sentence.
If we're going to get Pettway, I want him in the secondary unless he's just an insane baller you can't keep off the field a la Joe Adams. After watching the end of the A&M game and then watching Hutson Mason throw on us at will, it's obvious we need more horses in the back seven, especially at LB with Ellis' injury issues and losing Spaight after the season.
I just want some fricking consistency in our linebacker corps in terms of production, depth and personnel. I remember in 2012 saying to myself that we'd be stacked in 2014 because AJ Turner and Otha Peters would be experienced juniors, and look how that turned out.
It's not really about being able to "out-Bama Bama" because if Hugh Freeze can recruit an elite defense to Ole Miss, we sure as hell can recruit one here.

There's usually always one senior each year I wish we could take a mulligan on and get back the next year. That guy for me this year is Spaight. I love Flowers, but I feel like we can account for 85% of what he brings with the guys we have, and we're not wanting for defensive ends whereas linebacker is seemingly in a perpetual state of shallow depth.

Not surprised that Malik Dime will not attend Arkansas. Some people around the program think Portis will be back for a Jr season.

Just saw this, we never really had much of a chance but I had hoped. Makes sense with Portis but from the ISU fans I know they thought he was theirs.

Dat Huntington Prep pipeline if we can get Kapita after also get Moses from them. Doesn't get much better for a pipeline.
