I think for me it was the announcement of the Means penalties. We had been through lean times because of the previous penalties under Stallings. We were just getting our feet back under us. Then the rug was pulled out from under again. It had already been five years with no realistic chance of competing at a high level. Then I knew it would be at least five more years of pipe dreams as far as high level competition. So at this point I realize that it's the middle of a ten year shite show. That day and its aftermath sucked.

That's a very good one as well.

Our rivals were overjoyed, we had to start all over. It was one of those "WTF is all this even for? Why do I care about this?" moments.

Easily 2006 win against Duke. I stumbled out of Mercury Bar in NYC depressed. Grabbed an amazing Cheesesteak a block over like it was a tub of ice cream and consoled myself.

2013 Kick Six probably takes the cake, but a few others...

2006-We are losing to Duke at halftime
2007-JPWs pick six at Miss State
2007-Losing to Auburn in JHS, in one of the most boring, cold games I've ever attended

The 2007 loss to ULM isn't really up there, because I was so despondent, almost apathetic at that point.

My first year of being a real Alabama fan was in 1997, when I was 11 years old. My Dad and I would ride around in the car and listen to Eli call the games. The Iron Bowl that year pitted the 4-6 Tide against the 8-2 Tigers. I wanted nothing more than to ruin their season. We're riding around and it's late in the game, Bama is up 17-15 with the ball. My Dad said "They're gonna get the ball back and kick a field goal and win 18-17." Sure enough, they get the ball on a fumble and kick the field goal. Dad switched the radio between Eli and Jim Fyffe and they were going crazy. We rode in silence for a while and finally I blurted out "Why'd you have to say that?!", as if Dad was somehow responsible for the travesty that had taken place. He just laughed.

My other "lowest memory" is when Alabama lost the 2000 Orange Bowl on a missed extra point and I laid in the floor, crying. In my defense, I was 13 and that was the first year since I became a fan that Alabama had been awesome. I was thoroughly convinced that we were going to blow Michigan out of the water. Stupid Tom Brady. Following that loss with a 3-8 record the next season, after being ranked #3 preseason, was also a low point.

I have to admit, after reading the rest of y'all s responses I have to say that my lowest point is a lot higher than most of yours. I've only been a Bama fan since 2009/2010 though, so thankfully I missed all of the rough years.

Damn it. Wife and I (then gf) woke up at like 5 AM to drive to Starkvegas, sat on the 1st row of the upper deck and watched that guy run down the sideline in slow motion. Fvckin worst trip ever.

I was sitting in a section next to the Bama section in the lower seats. Hungover as shite. Miserable day all around.

Full disclosure- I'm 22 and was bit of a late bloomer getting into football. First season I think I started really watching was 2006.

So a few moments stand out. Obviously the Kick 6 was terrible, but honestly it wasn't the worst I've felt. The Cam comeback hurt worse because I think I'd laughed at Aubs during halftime on Facebook

But by far my worst feeling was getting score updates while I was at the Troy vs Navy game in 2012. I had actually seen Manziel run all over Auburn a few weeks before, but I figured it had a bit to do with Auburn sucking on D. I thought we were safe after beating LSU.

Getting so many updates about A&M scoring on us was terrible. Then I got back to a TV and we were pulling back, only for our 4th and goal to end in a pick. That was by far the worst for me.

Recently - Kick 6, most heartbreaking loss i've ever witnessed.

Historic - ULM or LaTech, just embarassing.

The 2000 Iron Bowl. Capping off a miserable 3-7 year; I flew down from PA, spent way too much money on a ticket and sat in the miserable rain to watch us lose 9-0. To this day it's the only game that I walked out of before the 4th quarter, the team simply had nothing that day and everyone in the stadium knew it. Went to a friends house sat around, watched other games and drank away the misery.

That whole day was just miserable. Thankfully I sold my tickets the night before for just over face value and didn't have to sit through it. But walking around before the game, and the campus was just devoid of energy. The weather and our season to that point had a lot to do with it, but just one of the weirdest pre-game vibes I've ever experienced in Tuscaloosa. We watched the first half in Buffalo Phil's, and even it was dead. The only excitement was when Bama nearly pulled off the halfback pass early in the game, but had it intercepted instead.

Probably the 2011 GOTC. It was such an intense game, and after all that happened that year, I wanted them to win it all for the city. It obviously all worked out in the end, but that night after the game I resembled a strung out, beaten dog. I think I even cried in front of my friends. They didn't judge me.

Mine is pretty weak, but I didn't become a fan until my freshman year in 2006.

This might be weird but 2014 Arkansas. Fresh off a loss from Ole Miss and after a full week of every sports analyst saying that Bama's run was finally over. You could tell that for once the pressure was really starting to get to the team, since it was just torture to watch us struggle with a team who hadn't won an SEC game in like 2 years.

That halftime score is still haunting. Bad. My goodness that was bad.

I guess it depends on your definition.

The worst I ever felt for our boys in Crimson? Probably 2000.

Iron Bowl in 2006. I was absolutely certain that a loss would mean a coaching change that I felt like we desperately needed. A win might (probably would) have saved Shula.

I literally remember the internal conflict as the game was starting of, "Do I actually hope my team loses today?". I was so pissed at Shula for even putting us in that position.
