Why are the concessions in BDS so terrible in terms of selection?

I've been to 11 of the 14 SEC stadiums and many other stadiums, all of which are much worse than ours, have much better concession selections.

In terms of actual real food (not snacks) at our concession stands you can get:

A hot dog
Nachos with bbq on them

Ok great... Where are the burgers? Where are the chicken tenders? Where are the BBQ sandwiches? Where is the pizza? Where are the french fries?

All of those things are extremely commonplace stadium food that have very broad appeal.

I never understood why fans want to eat inside BD. The food is very average. There are Great food trucks and vendors just outside the stadium with 10 times better food and it's less expensive; and you are waiting in line for a hot dog! Some even missing the game. Crazy

Because you can be in there for 6 hours.

The game is 3 1/2. Other than workers, how is someone there for 6 hours?

At best. Can often last 4 hours. Gates open 2 hours before the game.

Admittedly I haven't been to a game in a few years, but the worst to me was switching to Carolina Pride hot dogs. I always looked foward to a couple of dogs when they used Bryan, but I absolutely despise Carolina Pride.

Add to it that it can take an hour to get off campus after the game and to a restaurant, they can easily got 7+ hours without eating if they don't eat at the game.

When I take my children, I can't just tell them they can't have stadium nachos or a hotdog. I hit the concession up every trip and will do so tonight even though it will just be my brother and I.

Clearly people do choose to eat inside the stadium though.

This thread is about why the options are so limited. Other stadiums concessions have a much, much wider variety of food. BDS has had the same bare bones stuff my whole life.

I always eat before or after the games. Plenty of great options outside.

But I would like to see some updates to the concourses. The traffic flow is awful.

What is this post? Of course they have chicken fingers. They have bbq sandwiches, they have Polk sausages, they have burgers. There's all kinds of stuff.

They used to have pizza as well, but I'm not sure if they are still a vendor.

You've said that twice, but they have every food you mentioned.

Not at any of the concessions in the upper deck where my seats are. Do the lower deck concessions have significantly better options? Seems kinda whack.

I'm also not talking about the Stadium Club stuff either, I know the food there is pimping, I've been several times.
