The best deal going is parking in the parking deck downtown behind city hall and riding the shuttle to the stadium. Its all free, easy to access and very little walking. I don't know why more people don't do this.

That's like a mile walk you lazy arse

I don't mind paying the 2$ to be lazy. It also allows me the time to come later while I watch earlier games elsewhere.

central HS is not a bad place. you can exit south and figure out how to get back to a main road to the interestate.

$40 to park

When did this happen? I've always paid $20 to park in the grass field behind the RV lot. It's the very first stop on the bus getting out.

Nowhere on campus, but where my family friends tailgate, it's all residential and business in the immediate area and they all charge around $40. It's around the University/Queen City intersection, and this is for the big games. I haven't been for the less attractive games, so they may charge less for those, but it's basically on the strip so I doubt it.

The downtown parking garage. Walk to campus or take the trolley.

I parked in a lot by the Checkers on 15th a lot the last few years.

Last year during/after the Auburn game my car got broken into it (I think I might have accidentally left it unlocked, as there was no forced entry).

Luckily I had nothing of value at all in the car, but somebody had rooted around in the trunk and glovebox and was probably super disappointed not to find anything.

Was probably a fluke thing but regardless I don't park there anymore.

Reading some of these responses makes me wonder how many reserved spots on campus go unused on any given game day. It has to be a lot. Some of these spots y'all are talking about, people wouldn't dream of parking in even 10 years ago. I can remember parking in the parking lot behind the Ferguson Center(not even sure there's a lot there anymore) for the Tennessee game in 2002, and the lot was pretty much empty when we got there around 11(pretty sure that game was 2:30 CBS.) And it wasn't that far of a walk to the stadium.

Even in the 90's when I was in school, we could get a spot in the Ten Hoor lot a few hours before kickoff for some games.

I know they've done away with some lots on campus to make it more pedestrian friendly, but there still has to be a lot of unused parking spots on campus for games.

And yes, I know the expanded capacity has contributed as well.

There were a few vehicles hit that day in this general area.
