Born and raised a Bama fan. I don't remember, but I'm told at 3 years old I would sit and watch an entire game with my dad.

Grew up an Auburn fan until I was 11. Didn't watch football, but tigers were my favorite animal lol. Entire family was Auburn fans except my sister, who loved Bama. She got an accounting degree at Troy then went to UA to get her masters. She was teaching an entry class and had three football players in it. One of then asked if their was anything they could do for extra credit, and she jokingly replied that if they could convert me from Auburn she would help out. She brought me up during my fall break and i got to be at three practices and was on the sidelines before the game, they gave me a ratty practice jersey,a football, and someone hooked me up with a coozie, a key ring, and some other stuff that became the most prized possessions an 11 year old could have. Been a die hard fan every since. It helped that me and my dad never really got along and he was a major Aubie fan. Also explained why I didn't like Dale Earnhardt.

I'm 54, born and raised in Childersburg. Graduated from Samford University in 1988, and have lived in Alabama all my life (Birmingham and Gadsden areas primarily).
I had a sister who was 10 years older than me, and she was a big Auburn fan when I was growing up. That, coupled with my best friend up the street being an Alabama fan, naturally made me a fan of the Tide. I've been paying attention to Alabama football since roughly 1973 or '74, and Alabama basketball some time later. I THINK I remember C.M. Newton being the coach, but Wimp is who comes to mind when I think of basketball.

Had a butt full of Bulldogs and went to Bama because it was far enough away from home I didn't have to come home too much, but could if I wanted to

I went to Jones valley,Huntsville middle school and Huntsville high. So you probably were freshman and I was senior.

The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery.
My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.
My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard really.
At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it.

Grew up in Bama household . Family had season tickets so been going to games since late 70s. Had a few small D1 and many D2 (wasn’t good enough for Bama) offers in baseball. Columbus was out of state for Bama in those days so didn’t go to Bama. Oldest daughter graduated from Bama and youngest is a sophomore there now. Living through them
Been a football coach for 20 Years and baseball for 24 along with AD. Getting ready to retire (hopefully) in a year so may take a class at Bama to say I went there

They actually have a program for retirees to take classes. They're more life enrichment classes(art, photography, etc.) than traditional college classes. My mom took a few of them and really enjoyed them.
Drawing a blank on the name of the program at the moment.

Born in Lincoln, NE, moved to Mobile right before Hurricane Frederick hit....saw Tiffin hit game winner vs au...been a Bama fan ever since!! **can still kick my age, just saying!!! :)

My grandfather and father would listen /watch ( then only 2 televised a year) every game
My first real "hero" was Jeremiah Castille ...then of course Derrick Thomas
Went to other schools including another SEC school for grad work. Ugrad paid me and grad work was due to location
My 6 yr old when i picked her up from school on the day of Bama OSU game ...got in the car and said "Best day EVER" and i go."why?" And she replied "It's national championship day"
And so it continues

Yea I can remember listening to games on radio with my dad washing his truck on Saturdays. If it was on Tv we had friends over with kids too and it was a big old party
