The joke isn't that he played poorly. It's making fun of the shitty, obvious play calling. Anyone who would blame him for anything has Gump level intelligence. I loved Darby.

But those jokes are never going to end. Darby up the middle defined huge Shula era.

and guys, Harris is not small. 5'11 215 is prototypical size for a rb, and he is stout. I'm trying to understand why people keep saying that.

Who is saying this? I figured FourThreeForty was joking.

We're used to Henry-size. Bo is Henry-size.

But Harris has definitely shown he is the guy. The other two young RBs have show promise in limited carries.

We've gotten too accustomed to seeing running backs that look like tight ends & linebackers

Indeed. I've been very impressed by him, reminds me of a better Shaud Williams.

His vision is SO MUCH improved from last year. The limited time I saw him last year made me wonder where he got the 5 star label from. Looks like he has really worked on his game.

I don't think we'll be doing that.

It's incredible to me how fans use Darby as a punchline for poor play. The kid ran for over 1,000 yards in 2004 and 2005. Darby's sub-par performance in 2006 can be attributed to a piss poor offensive line as well as lingering side effects from a sports hernia injury he had suffered.

This!!! Darby was a total bad arse when at 100% but he just never seemed the same after his injury.

He looked like he was thinking last year. This year he sees the hole and hits it. Very shifty and good in tight spaces.

Totally different player this year.

It's amazing how much better Harris looks running behind the first string line rather than the 2nd and 3rd team line when the game is well in hand.

See what you've done

ETA: For some reason I thought he was hurt worse.

GREAT POST!!!!

Vision doesn't really improve except for maybe marginally, it is actually having something to see.
