That was pretty interesting. I have to say, if I was a recruit basing my decision solely on the coaches personalities, I would go with McElwain hands down, and Muschamp second. Those two seemed to be a class above the other guys in terms of knowledge, speaking ability, and likeability.

That USF coach had a great feel for where the game was going

Taggart offered nothing, IMO. He appears to be a good motivator and would be a coach players would want to play for, but not really a good X and O coach.
McElwain appeared to provide the best insight, maybe because he is still familiar with the Bama coaching staff. Muschamp was OK, better than I expected, but really didn't say a lot. Fedora was OK, as well. Funny about his advice for Clemsons last onside kick to make sure its obvious you aren't offsides. The Pitt coach was as worthless as Taggart.
However, I'd like to rewatch other games with their input.

I agree with that. He never went into specifics about really anything in the game. Just said things were good or bad. I just liked his prediction that a trick play would decide the game, and it kind of did.

I think the Pitt coach offered just about nothing as you said.

McElwain and Muschamp were the most knowledgeable. Fedora's accent is a lot thicker than I thought.

My least favorite part of the broadcast was the guys in the room with them. They just kept asking, well what do you do now? Over, and over. One of them said, "So Nick Saban has 5 national championships" in such a way that seemed demeaning to the coaches at the table. You could tell they all were just a little bit silent after he said that.

I had never noticed how much McElwain sounds like Mike Gottfried. Jim could definitely make it in the telecast profession when his days on the sidelines are finished.
