I'm so unbelievably upset about all this. It would be one thing to lose in OT. But to lose like that? Mind numbing

No meltdown here.
shite happens and any Bama fan that lets one loss erase the accomplishments made by this program is a nut.
Alabama will be in the hunt again next year.
There's a reason why winning 3 in a row is seen as impossible, it's very hard to do.
The way we lost sucks but I can't find it in myself to cry about it. It is what it is.

No meltdown from me.
Cade Foster needs to be put down though.
This was all on Saban. You've lost confidence in Foster, so you put Griffith out there to make that kick...but you didn't have confidence in Griffith to make a 30 yard kick that probably would have been the winning margin? Running the FG back 109 yards isn't that much of a fluke, because your FG team probably doesn't practice covering kicks that would be returned.
After we got the lead, rather than put the ball in the hands of our best offensive player...McCarron...we tried to run the ball down their throats with Yeldon. I got sick of Yeldon pussy footing to the line instead of just lowering his pads. And the last two play calls were beyond stupid. If we have the best QB and receivers in the country, let them try and hit a couple of passes and get a chance at a makable FG.

This is frickING TERRIBLE. Too many "what ifs" to complain, I'm just fricking sad. Tits to the face.....imminent

Sugar Bowl bound I guess

Well at least we'll get the opportunity to beat the shite out of a B1G team in a bowl game. Better alert the hospitals in advance.

My wife is a witness. I said put 99 in and try the field goal. What have we got to lose. Oh well. Congrats to Auburn.

I thought it was very obvious that they were the more physical team in the trenches today and thats what won them the game. Why be stubborn on that 4th and 1 I was screaming for a PA pass. But hey I guess everyone is great at armchair coaching.
99 should have been the kicker the entire year fwiw.

I've never been so stunned. I'm not sure it's really hit me fully yet. I love our team, I'm not angry. But frick.....this off season is gonna last 17 moons.

It is what it is.
Either way, I hope NFL scouts really saw what kind of a back Yeldon is tonight. I'd take any three previous first-stringers, and Roy Upchurch, any day over him. Just awful.

I hear ya. I'm mad as frick. Angry as frick. We lost this game straight up. Auburn beat us. But Saban is the reason we lost this game. I'm not sure how
You can say otherwise.

Well Patton, next year he'll be Texas' problem.

I don't see why we aren't playing Henry more as a power back. We are really missing any type of power in short yardage.

The worst of his career at Bama. What's the point in letting a freshman kicker attempt a 57 yarder and then not have any athletes on the field to possibly defend?
That seemed kind of desperate to me. You're going to put this on the guy who hasn't made a FG's shoulders? And then how do you not figure they're going to have someone back there to return it?
Ohhhh well
