No characters allowed.

Speaking of which if there are any Mods reading this thread with the ability to override the no characters law around here I sure would like to return to T&B

short for Tide and Braves, MD.

Hanging in there Brosky.

The Mrs. sends her love, and I sometimes find the backdoor unlocked even though I know I locked it before leaving for work in the morning.

Sumbitch.

Very difficult to get a name change.

The only one I've ever seen was where a mod changed one letter in the handle to make it even worse than the original that the poster was requesting to be changed to something different altogether.

Cant remember the particulars, but it was something like that.

I was probably involved in half of them and I damn sure can't remember.

The whole not being over moderated thing is what keeps me there as long as it's up. And I hope that's a good while because there are some good folks there, minus myself of course.

Very well done overall. This isn't bashing the recruiting MegaThreads here by any means, because I love them and check them daily for updates, but the individualized player threads were top notch. Impossible to do on a site like this.

Why would it be impossible to do on this site or most any other?

Notwithstanding the anal dorks that get their panties in a wad if you create a recruiting thread of its own, I could start one right now, complete with videos of next years class.

There's no way to do it the way it was done on Woolly. We'd need a subforum strictly for Bama recruiting.

I'd love to do the same.

Once upon a time, I was close to joining a group in Pensacola. We were looking at lots on Perdido Bay between Lillian and Perdido Beach. But it didn't work out

Yeah, you'd need a subforum.

Otherwise the entire first 2 pages would be stickied with threads on individual crutes

I'm sure we could set up a sub forum for you, T&B and BPM, or whoever to work out of. Even if y'all didn't visit the other forums, it would be nice to have that info in that format again. Even if it's based off some post count to access it, there could always be a 'bump thread' to get your count up to the minimum.

Just a thought.

No, that's just a thread in the main forum.

???

I don't think you're following. On Woolly, the recruiting forum had individual threads for every recruit. So, if you wanted to read everything about Daquan Shivermetimbers, you just clicked on the thread and read away. There's no way to have 30 threads on the Bama board and keep them on the first page.

Not me. I have zero info on recruits. Even back in the day when I was slightly more connected, I wasn't a recruiting guru.

No....the recruiting board on Wooly as a sub-forum...in that sub-forum was a separate thread on each individual recruit. Usually for a year or two out...the recruiting board here is just a thread that is now 500 pages long.

It's neither here nor there, to me, how or what they do on this Wooly forum because I'm not going to be on a piece of shite forum that allows racist content.
