Not gonna jump ship, but this team looks very much like bad NBA Avery.
The lack of adjustments and unprepardness to the very obvious Shaka run and press is baffling.

I expected us to choke but it doesn't make it any easier to watch. Shaka led a bad Texas team and took Johnson behind the woodshed in the 2nd half.

Tough loss especially with such a strong first half.
Too many turnovers and bad possessions. Team needs to get better in every facet (especially free throws).
On to the next one.

I sure wish we could play the Nolan Richardson "40 minutes of hell" type ball. I'm not sure anyone can play like that anymore, since the refs call everything now

The out of conference portion of the schedule is now officially a bust.

last 5 min we had numerous air balls and many missed FT's. UT missed a lot to keep it close

I checked the score at the half and was pleasantly surprised. Thought we had it on the bag. Checked again this morning and saw the ugly reality. This team is bad. We have a decent backcourt and a front court that couldn't compete in a church league. It's gonna be a long year (sigh)

If that were the case we wouldn't have lost. Texas isn't an NIT quality team IMO.

Should have been an easy win on the road, with the way Texas was playing. Up 12 in the half and give up 51 points in the second half.
