What will our full roster look like?
Nevermind, I got bored and decided to research. I could still be wrong, but here's what I came up with.
Sexton - Fr.
Petty - Fr.
Reese - Fr.
Jones - Fr.
Smith - Fr.
Ingram - So.
Key - So.
Giddens - So.
Fuller - So.
Johnson, Jr. - Jr.
Hall - Jr.
Austin - Jr.
Schaffer - Jr.
Davis - Sr.
King - Sr.
Norris - Sr.

Hard to predict if anyone will transfer out, but if no one does
Collin Sexton PG/SG (Freshman)
Avery Johnson Jr. PG (Junior)
Dazon Ingram PG (Sophomore)
Brandon Austin SG/SF (Junior)
Ar'Mond Davis SG/SF (Senior)
John Petty SG/SF (Freshman)
Herb Jones SG/SF (Freshman)
Riley Norris SG/SF (Senior)
Nick King SG/SF (Senior)
Braxton Key SF/PF (Sophomore)
Alex Reese PF (Freshman)
Daniel Giddens C (Sophomore)
Donta Hall C (Junior)
Galin Smith C (Freshman)
Almost all of our guys can play multiple positions, so some of my positions might be slightly off.
My starting lineup guess for the first game would be:
G: Sexton
G: Ingram
G: Norris
F: Key
C: Hall
Petty overtakes Norris pretty early in the season

Can we at least finish this season?
Posted on 1/19/17 at 6:35 pm to JordonfortheJ
Yeah we're about to make a huge run and go undefeated the rest of the regular season
WATCH OUT KENTUCKY!

Our women's team was only down 6 at half to Mississippi State, but it looks like they're about to get blown out now.

Strike up the overrated chant

It really is nice to look at the SEC standings and see us sitting in 4th after a 5-5 start to the season. I didn't expect us to turn things around as much as we have. Excited to see if we can keep winning and FINISH in the top 4. Would be nice to get 2 days off in the SEC tourney.

SEC schedule's been pretty favorable thus far. The rest of this month is huge. They're all winnable and badly need to be won because three of the first four in Feburary are @Arky, @USCe, and Kentucky. We can be pretty good and still lose all three of those.

Yeah, I look at the remaining schedule and think we have a good shot of beating each of the teams, except UK. But, we also have a good chance of losing to any of them. I'm really hoping we can hold serve against the "lesser" teams, and then win one or two against the ranked type teams. That would be a very successful year, in my opinion.

Yea - getting into bubble discussion and then going to the NIT with 17-18 wins would be a solid year 2, and would build a bit of momentum heading into what should be an incredibly exciting year 3.

We are up to 64th in KenPom.
Defensive Efficiency : 18th
Offensive Efficiency : 182nd (a nice improvement)
Dante Hall is having a really good year. If he keeps improving at the rate he has he is going to be a dang good player his last 2 seasons.
- 20th nationally in 2 PT %
- 31st nationally in block %
- 98th nationally in offensive rating
- 105th nationally in offensive rebound %
- 184th nationally in defensive rebound %

Hall kinda reminds me of Stromile Swift, who played for LSU. Very long and athletic and could absolutely throw it down. Very exciting and explosive game.

That defensive rebounding number is a bit surprising being that we are so much better on the boards this year. I thought we'd be in the 70s in that category
Posted on 1/20/17 at 10:03 am to MontyFranklyn
I believe that's an individual statistic for Donte Hall.

It was Danta Hall individually
