I don't know if we will win out, but if any of you think that we don't have a chance of beating MSU and AU, your wrong. Those teams are beatable, very beatable. Stop their run and they are both in big trouble. We are also very beatable, either way just relax and enjoy watching the Tide play.

Bama got beat by a really good and physical football team Saturday. Hugh Freeze and his staff made elite adjustments in the second half. Alabama did not. That was the difference in the game.

I can see another loss or two down the road but a 10 win season is still a great year. This team isn't as good as the last 4-5 years. But that's alright. You can't win them all.

This. He was exposed.

Exposed implies he isn't as good as the hype. He's still a first round Safety. HaHa had worse games than that. Barron had worse game than that.

Eh, I dunno about that. I don't remember Clinton-Dix having a game as bad as that.

You could argue that Barron had an equally as bad game against Auburn in 2010 but he had a ripped pectoral muscle for half of that game.

Collins was a straight up liability on Saturday and was on the bad end on most of their big plays.

What is it about losing to Ole Miss that make people never want to lose again?

I honestly forgot I had a lot going on. I missed it on the rant out of 3. I shall take my lashes.

1. I think every player played hard Saturday and wanted to win. I have no knowledge of practice during the bye week.

2. I also think that this team is not as good as 2013, and sure as hell isn't as good as 2012 or 2011. So a loss or two should not be a surprise or a reason to go find a bridge to jump off.

3. I don't think we lose if Drake doesn't get hurt.

4. If you accept the fact that this team wasn't as good as 2011, 2012, or 2013, then maybe you can free your mind to get excited about watching how this team improves. And it will improve.

I am telling you right now, we are not one of the best teams in the country this year.

I would like to see you rank everyone who you think it better than Alabama this year, and for bonus tell us why.

Cooper has balled out so far this year... He has the ability to take it to the house every time he touches the ball. We should definitely keep feeding him as much as possible.

For starters, until proven otherwise on the field, start with the AP top 6. Hell, right now there's more evidence that TCU is better than us. Forget recruiting rankings. Forget that we have Saban, Smart, and Kiffin. Forget that we wear the crimson jersey. Results on the field are all that matter. Until this team proves on the field that they are one of the best...which they may very well do before the season is over...they aren't.

But it also doesn't matter if we are one of the best right now. What matters is who's holding the crystal ball at the end.

I'm a positider, but I am also a realist. I know that this team isn't as good as years past, and I also know that we could lose a few games here and there. But I just don't understand how people can just give up and say " oh well, pack it up, no national championship this year, better luck next year". Yes we lost a game, but it's not the end of the world. I'm not saying I'll be shocked or devistated if we lose another game, but why go through the rest of the season already expecting more losses? What if the players thought like this? Should they give up too? Even if we're not favored in the rest of our games, we should come in with the mindset that we CAN win. That's what Ole Miss was thinking last Saturday. That's what MSU was thinking with LSU. That's what Zona, KSU, and TCU were thinking.

All I'm saying is don't give up on this team yet. Until proven otherwise, I will continue to think that this team can win it all, and we're still on the Road to Dallas and #16.

2012 and 2013 had were pretty similar in terms of talent. In a NC year you get a couple bounces compared to the years you don't. This team has a lot less experience and we got hit with some injuries in the last game. I don't really chalk it up to much more than that. Remember how bad our offense was at times in 2009? Could have easily lost some games but that team goes undefeated and 2011 team doesn't. It is just a crazy sport.

When you are expected to cover the entire back half of the field because you are the safety net trying to make up for the absolute shite play we are getting from the corners you will have that. He is spread to thin right now and Ole Miss took advantage of it. Landon Collins is probably the best player we have on defense right now but he cant be superman. He needs help so he can focus on JUST his job instead of having to give help over the top.
