Personally I think he has an ok arm and his mobility was overrated as he was playing against grimlins in HS. He was simply an overrated bust. His weird throwing motion was fricking retarded too

Hope Coach Graham was sure to explain the situation clearly and slowly for Blake. Don't want your backup QB to get rustled.

We agreed on this the first time. Back up is always better.

In before he wasn't given a fair shake and is actually the best.

Are you still all-aboard the "Hurts is a great passer" train? I haven't seen you bring it up much. I did notice the latest scrimmage reports aren't exactly glowing about his passing.

He has improved quite a bit. I've said this before in this thread I believe. If Jalen was 50% last year he looks 75% this year. Not a massive improvement but noticeable. He will be making more throws that he couldn't last year.

I could be wrong but I've never seen anyone say that Hurts is a "great passer". Ever.

Oh, I was told he was good last year.

Florida state doesn't have many weapons on offense this season. I think Patrick and Akers are solid but nothing we won't handle. They however have zero receivers with experience. And a shitty OL

He was good last year just not great or whatever our fans think is great. With his limited experience he did quite well. 62.8 % isn't amazing but not terrible either.

Nyqwan Murray is scary talented. He had huge games last year against Clemson, NC State and Michigan, all 3 very good defenses (17 catches for 353 yards and 3 TDs).

It all comes down to their O-line and QB play. Their O-line will have to have made massive strides, and Francois will have to be able to make plays with his feet and throwing outside the pocket. It's really that simple. If their O-line sitnks, Francois is good but not great, then there is no shot for them to win.

Probably the last thing to add is he needed improvement in two areas. Seeing the field, and timing. I believe he has fixed the timing issue and is close to getting the vision. He does reads better but sometimes still wants to run.

Not gonna lie, I'm pretty nervous about watching Jalen his first 2-3 drives against FSU.

If he looks just as freshman like as he did the last 1/3 of 2016 I'm gonna get super nervous.

Here, I'll redeem myself by posting a link. It's probably already been posted, but I didn't see it.

Yeah it is difficult to tell how they will come out. I'm also curious on play calling as well. This might be interesting with the big D calling the shots.

Don't worry, if Hurts looks shaky, we now have a Macsiah to come and and lead us to victory.

I'd be more worried of him hitting the OL in the head than interceptions lol.

I'd be a lot more confident if this guy still had some eligibility.
