He fits what we do like a glove. Takes mostly 3s and rim 2s (shooting over 60% inside the arc as a primary guard). We need another ball-handler, even if Sears comes back and with the amount of talent on next year's roster, we may need someone that is worried more about representing the state than the PT we have to offer (which isn't much currently).

I think we have to have some people hit the portal or declare for the draft first. We technically don’t have any open spots at the moment do we?

We are technically over the scholarship limit between guys with remaining eligibility, incoming freshmen, and the Mallette kid. It should work out fine since there's probably like a 95% chance Parker, Wague, and Cosby are all hitting the portal soon and Spears will go back to being a walk-on if we need his scholarship, but there's a possibility that we only bring in one or two from the portal if Sears, Nelson, and Wrightsell all use their last year.

We’ll have a lot of NIL available if Sears and Nelson leave. If they stay they will cost a lot. It would be one of those the best gets are the ones you already have situations. I do think we try to get a top big man even if they borh stay and will have the NIL to do so.

The dead period ends tomorrow at noon.l so should be more portal news coming out after that. Hearing we have a couple of guys visiting soon.

I would say we lead for Ballo right now, he’s supposed to be visiting soon, possibly this weekend. Hear he is supposed take a couple visits though so things could change. I think we’re getting the first visit so hopefully he goes on amd commits while he is here.
