What game did you watch?! We were never the “better” team all night. They whipped our arse at every position, except special teams, all game.

We owned the 2nd half except the last drive and even that was due to them converting a 4th down. If Seth doesn’t have bad snaps, Milroe doesn’t fumble (our defense bailed him out but we were moving the ball and would have put points on the board), or Milroe hit just 1 more open receiver of all the wide open receivers, we win the game in regulation. Our A game was always better than Michigan’s A game, but we were more prone to mistakes. The mistakes ended up costing us, but we easily controlled 26 minutes of the 2nd half and should have scored more than 20. Our defense held them scoreless for 26 min in that half, and that includes after the Milroe fumble. No reason we shouldn’t have won that game 23-20 or 27-20 in regulation.

I’d take Bama in a rematch if they played it…think we were the better team but had one too many mistakes. Maybe that would happen again, doesn’t matter now. Worried about going against a stout defense next year, though. Have to have a quick passing game in elite CFB.

He’s raw as hell. It takes games to excel unless you have special talent. McCarthy has 27 starts. It makes a diff. Jalen in start 27 will be exponentially better.
( hopefully)

I went back and looked, I did not see a pick play on 4th and 2 by them.

I think it was a great read option by Morgan on that play. Moore was so deep, cutting his route short was an auto first down at worst.

Pathetic.

I'd argue that Milroe fumble as the only disagreement to this.

Negative 20 yards of bad snaps on successful opening drive of 2nd half doesn’t count?

Even after both of those, we still had an over 60% chance of winning almost the entire 4th Quarter that got as high as 88.8% in the statistical models. (Michigan’s highest % before OT was 71.4% in the first half).

Say what you want, but we were the better team and gave the game away with too many mistakes. Everyone thought we were going to win when we up 7, and we should have already been up 10-14.

The defense was constantly confused and out of place and the offense had zero rhythm but then they got in to some rhythm the screwed up the next play somehow.

We gave up 13 points through 56 minutes of the game!! That includes after the Offense made stupid mistakes including Milroe’s fumble.

We were confused on a couple plays and got punked in OT, but we were not “constantly confused”!!! The defense played well enough to win, but the offense did not.

I doubt it. Jalen needs to be in run first RPO offense. More starts attempting to be a pocket passer will not help.

Tip your cap to Michigan. They did what needed to be done…collapse the pocket from the interior and disguise coverages

I am afraid next year will not be much different.

What irritated me the most (besides the last play and Seth) was the absolute stupid play of throwing in the flat on the short side, QB being like two feet away, and defenders right on the guy…completely wasted play…so stupid. Horrible play call!

Milroe should have kept the ball as I believe he could have got more positive yards on that play.

Both 17 and 30 didn't get it done tonight on defense nor did 15.

Wish Nick had stuck with 22 and 26 running the ball more.

Bama needs some really good interior DL.

Go Blue wanted it and it showed. Salute to them.

Milroe will be the same after 12 games next year. He is just low IQ and that isn't going to change.

I like how he runs the ball and agreed wish we would have seen more of him tonight. Hopefully next year we will.

How many of us were asking for Kiffin’s dismissal after the OSU game? Relax, y’all. We’ll be okay. At some point this offense is going to need some time to develop.
