Yep... They'll learn about the good ol' coach boob offense.

Hiring BoB was the worst decision in Saban’s 16 years at Alabama.

Bill O’Brien and 3 and outs. Name a more iconic duo. You can’t.

Belichick's ego has caught up to him. I don't know who let slip five or six years ago that the Patriots' system was what made the offense work and that they could plug and play any QB and be successful, but they were full of shite.

Tom Brady was what made that system work. And yet they (meaning Belichick) did everything in their power to get rid of him even though the man could still play football. No wonder it's being reported that he and Kraft are on the outs.

Jalen was hella prolific at 3 and outs, never played a snap for BoB.

Gotta feel bad for Mac. He's basically been given no help at all. They don't make moves for elite playmakers in the draft or via trade/FA even though they could have gotten Ridley for a song or signed Hopkins. Belichick just doesn't believe in it because Brady didn't need it. Nevermind the fact that he's the GOAT. You can't just cobble together a bunch of WR2s and WR3s and tell a young QB to win games like he's a 29 year old middle of his prime Tom Brady.

CFB Nerds mentioned a stat that in 2 years of BoB, we had more 3 and outs than the previous 10 years combined. It sounds too crazy to be true but they aren’t the type to make stuff up

We made it to the championship and had a good shot to win without injuries, but OK.

And an average offensive line by our standards. And only two scholarship running backs to work with. The list goes on. I’m not a fan of BoB but he was hamstrung in that national championship game. Then you had Billingsley dropping easy passes. I swear that he was point shaving or something.

This stat was discussed in another thread, it's almost certainly not true. They may have just misspoken. We may very well have had more consecutive 3 and outs last year than all the previous 10 years combined, or some such. Or had more 3 and outs last year than any of the individual previous 10 years. Regardless, there were too many 3 and outs.

Both can be true at the same time but OK.

Valid points. I blame the transfer portal, player development, and recruiting.

The plandemic hurt in person evaluations that coaches always do in camps. Remember that camps were not allowed in 2020. Anyway, that’s over and done with. I’m ready for 2023.

I mean, the post says they cant run block or pass block, so that make it difficult. Last year we dang sure couldnt run block. Any attempt to run on third and short made it a three and out.

It’s crazy to me that anyone would still take up for him now. The guy was a terrible game planner, a bad playcaller, and not a great recruiter. The trifecta of suck.

I’m so glad he’s gone.

It's amazing to me how he's trashed when I'd place blame on poor execution (drops), poor defense, lack of discipline, and poor talent/development among other things. I'm afraid people think they're going to see some miraculous changes now that he's gone, but it reality, many of those issue fell out of the OC's hands.

Bryce scrambling for his life every play because the route trees for the WR were terrible and no one was open, abandoning the run game down inside the 10, the terrible gameplan for Milroe, and many more things fall directly at Bill’s feet.
