where he played 13 games.

Through 4 games AJ McCarron is halfway to tying it, with 10. If we play 14 games, then, IN THEORY (as in this won't happen, but he'll still break the record) he could have 35 Passing scores.

If he gets near 30, doesn't turn it over and the teams undefeated he'll go to New York. Especially if he plays well against LSU and wins.

He's on track for 30 right now; though, we have some much tougher competition ahead.

Anyone been keeping up with heisman contenders?

Pre-Season favorite Barkley took a major hit with the loss last week.

Landry Jones and Denard Robinson have no shot at this point.

E.J Manuel?

Geno Smith?

De'Anthony Thomas?

I haven't really heard of anyone making much noise, no it's not unrealistic to speculate that AJ might at least get an invite to New York

If he throws 30, has 2 or less INTs, close to, if not already, 3000 yards, and is 13-0 heading to his second national title he should win the damn Heisman. I don't wanna see DAT win it for touching the ball like 5 times a game.

The Heisman race is as wide open after 4 weeks as I can remember and AJ is starting to get mentioned. That said, I'd put him as a big longshot just because he's not going to put up gaudy numbers like some other guys out there.

The important thing is that AJ has had 4 very good games. If he keeps playing well, no reason we can't bring home #15.

ETA: He'll break the single season TD record. Hopefully, he'll stick around his senior year to break the career passing TD record too.
