It's crazy over on the CC board. It's like being at the mall on December 24th and everybody has a new debit card with a $5000 limit.

Yeah, I made a few posts earlier that got immediately flamed. We should just avoid that place like the plague right now. It's unbearable.

I think it's quite possibly one of the greatest troll jobs ever done here; right next to ATPB. Go have fun with them, he ain't goin anywhere and if he is you still might as well have fun with them.

Chicken came in a thread yesterday to specifically tell me off. I'm sure one of the cry baby LSU fans couldn't handle it that I was going against the grain.

My opinion has always been that Paul Finebaum and Chicken are the two people who have probably benefited the most from Saban's career moves (besides Nick and Terry, of course). It's also no wonder I've always thought of this forum as the text based Paul Finebaum show. Seriously, when people ask me about this website, I tell them it's just like the finebaum show, except you read it and are a million more times likely to participate in it.
When Saban went to Alabama in 2007, Bama fans came over here in droves (I was one of them,, mainly just because I was curious about the man and just wanted information). It was more or less because of lot of us were complete arse hats and derailed thread after, after thread, after thread on the rant that something had to be done with us to keep the tiger rant on topic. (Notice here that his solution was not to ban us, but to include us, albeit with segregation, and keep traffic to the website going up, not down...ahem Bama based forums could learn a thing or two from this place). The only solution to keep a growing and prospering website and also keep the idiots confined to one space was to make the SEC Rant. It seems to have just snowballed from there. Now we have idiots coming out of our ear holes.

LOL! Agreed except I'd say about $10,000. What gets me is the incessant "he gone" bit. Like that adds something when 81479147975695038654 others have said the same tired thing.
Just remember, when Saban signs and stays put at Bama that shopping mall trip will turn so nasty the folks over there will be jumping off the ledge like that dude did the other day when his girlfriend wanted to keep shopping. THEY GONE!

What do you expect he is a corndeauxg...he banned people for saying the truth about Norwood's honeybitcher, and killed off all of the threads on it. He may be a mod but he is still an LSU fan and LSU fans are obsessed with Bama.

I would simply say...
His site, his rules and site/page views trumps fandom, if I had to guess. Don't sweat the little things and remember, he provided the team forums as a place for fans of specific teams to congregate to discuss things on their own terms for the most part. What's posted by him on his site shouldn't be held against him, whether it's his point of view or something to make discussion explode. How boring would it be without the growth of this site and people offering their opinions on boards that all teams can post on?
Just my most humblest of opinions.

For the most part the moderation is fairly evenhanded. When it comes to Nick the gloves seem to come off for the Lsu fans. From their point of view, I guess it still stings that he left them. If "he" goes it will be therapeutic for some of them. Whatever happens we will be fine and tuck fexas
