Did you guys see the thread that chris warner guy started earlier? LOL. I guess they deleted it to save him some face. The guy apparently can't even read. shite was great.

He thought he was gonna be the one to break the exclusive scoop with details about Saban's debt and in doing so revealed that he a.) does not understand what a judgment is, b.) posted a 3 year old link that has been posted at least a hundred times already, and c.) despite the fact that he actually writes articles for this site, he likely cannot even read. It was great. And then it was gone.

That was deleted? I was really looking forward to seeing where that thread went.

Well, Chicken is getting into the predictin' business.
Posted on 12/13/13 at 2:10 pm to mre
probably thinks he's helping recruit for LSU like the rest of them.

The problem with Chicken's source is that he's a Texas guy and I think Texas people legitimately believe it's going to be as easy as offering Nick Saban a deal and he's going to take it. Arrogant little fricks

The Texas mentality is "We're Texas. If we want him, we got him."

I saw that. The UT has all of the money not in the Vatican comment yesterday shows that UTx boosters think everyone has a price. Now whether or not Saban has a price remains to be seen.

Their prediction rate has gone down by 10% every day. First it was 90% chance that Saban leaves, Then 80% . Today it's 50%.
The way that they talk reminds me of the Naked Gun.
"Doctors say that Nordberg has a 50/50 chance of living, Though there's only a 10 percent chance of that."

I've given them every opportunity to boot me. But it would be for being brutally honest with those clowns.

UT can offer money but in no way can they offer the control Saban has.

From Deas of TideSports
He brings up a good point.

In reference to Saban and an enhanced deal at Alabama.
Nothing, really, at least not internally -- to use a Saban term, "relative to" how this has gone before. Saban has had raises and restructuring of his contract more than once at UA.
What's different is that it has become public. Texas (or to be specific a Texas booster -- not the AD, a booster) tried to feel Saban out last year around this time by calling Sexton. The year before (I think that's right), it was, apparently, the Cleveland Browns doing the same thing.
But it didn't play out in public.
It took some months after the season for all the i's to be dotted and t's crossed, but there wasn't all this anxiety because it was behind the curtain.
Because Texas' previous approach to Sexton (and, again, a Texas booster's approach, not the actual university) became public knowledge, there is a lot of light on this now.
Texas will possibly, probably or maybe be looking for a new head coach. Or maybe not. But because it has been reported that Mack Brown -- apparently unbeknownst to him at the time it was reported -- is on his way out, this is a high-profile thing.
We will see how it plays out, and on what timetable it plays out, but there is now public pressure and public expectation for Saban to reach some kind of accord on a contract enhancement now rather than later. And that is really all that is different here.
He brings up a good point.

Wow. Perfect. I agree 100%.
This ain't the first rodeo. This ain't the first time other schools have made overtures and we've had to up the ante. There's just a lot more internet bullshite this time.

I hope Mack is gone this year. I dont want to deal with this bullshite again next year.

Me too. We've been through this before, but there's a delusion level that's been reached with Texas on here that wasn't there with Cleveland.

This Texas stuff is real. There was nothing more to the Browns stuff than message board rumors. I was following that from both sides.

No it wasn't and it wasn't directed at every Bama fan. It was in response to being bashed as admin here for being unfair.
