And he was probably one of the more underrated when we recruited him.

He's only posting in VIP. It's a shame that he steals info from guys on Twitter and then only post it on VIP boards because folks are posting it here. What a hypocrite

Boz is such a vagina. He could spend all day at Saban's side and still fail to relay any reliable info

I took Boz's side and really believed he was an insider. I was wrong and I admit it. I also really dislike thin skinned bitches.

So what happens when Tua comes in, do the Tackles and guards flip?

Good question. Not sure we want Cotton protecting his blind side.

I doubt it...think that would cause a lot of confusion with blocking assignments and such...swapping back and forth during a game, especially on the OL, I think, would be a disaster...

Yea that was my concern. I do wonder if they will have the 2nd team oline practice with the tackles flipped, but if im a betting man i doubt that as well.

Have you noticed how Saban has been flipping Qlinemen back and forth "experimenting"? I know that's not unusual in the spring, but it sure is coincidental how it's working out. Jonah Williams is about the only one of all the potential contributors that hasn't and he played the other tackle last year.

April 18th Practice Notes TideSports

quote:

Outside linebackers

The group went through drills in the following order: Christian Miller, Anfernee Jennings, Jamey Mosley, Terrell Hall and Mehki Brown.

Defensive line

The first group to go through drills included Da'Shawn Hand, Da'Ron Payne, Josh Frazier and Raekwon Davis. The second included Quinnen Williams, O.J. Smith, Johnny Dwight and Isaiah Buggs.

Running backs

Bo Scarbrough wore a black jersey but he went through drills. Behind him included Najee Harris, Brian Robinson and Josh Jacobs. Damien Harris was in a regular jersey but he stood off to the side and B.J. Emmons wore a black jersey.

Base defense

Normally we get to look at the nickel or dime defenses during the media viewing period. Today we saw the base (minus defensive linemen). Trevon Diggs and Anthony Averett were at corner. Ronnie Harrison and Minkah Fitzpatrick were at safety. Keith Holcombe and Rashaan Evans were at inside linebacker. Terrell Hall and Anfernee Jennings were the outside linebackers with their hands down.

Miscellaneous

Ben Davis worked with the inside linebackers. Deionte Thompson wasn't at practice (that I was able to see). Shaun Dion Hamilton worked with head trainer Jeff Allen.

I'm highly impressed with Diggs. I would have been very impressed even if he had made it up to second string, but it is sounding like he might be a starter.

Alabama freshman quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has a howitzer for a left arm, but he hasn't always been a southpaw.

In a recent interview with Tua's father, Galu Tagovailoa told AL.com that he didn't want to be the only lefty in the family and taught his right-handed son how to throw with his left at 3 or 4 years old.

“I just always wanted someone to be a lefty with me. … It just became fluent and he just grew into it,” Galu Tagovailoa said. “That’s the crazy part about it. I never thought I could make him adapt to that. As we constantly kept putting the ball on his left hand, eventually he grew into throwing the ball with his left.It just became fluent and he just grew into it. ”

Tagovailoa has turned heads in the early going in Tuscaloosa as the top-rated dual-threat passer in the 2017 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. The five-star knows where to go with the football, has elite accuracy and owns the wheels to elude pressure, a must in today's era of tempo-driven, spread attacks.

And as a lefty, Tagovailoa's a rare find. According to a recent study by NFL.com, former Boise State star and Dallas Cowboys fourth-stringer Kellen Moore is the NFL's only left-handed quarterback among 96 players at the position on a roster.

No left-handers have been selected among 70 quarterbacks picked over the past six NFL drafts and that's not expected to change next week.

At some point I think we'll see a switch passer. If he rolls right, he'll throw with his right. If he rolls left he'll, throw with his left.

Every time I see practice videos I wish I was out there. Even if I was just a walk on getting my arse kicked.

But when I see the conditioning videos, I thank God I'm not out there

They've been changing left handed infants to right handers for ever, but this is the first time I've ever heard of this happening. Society is set up for right handed people.
