Don’t say that. Criticizing Hurts isn’t allowed here.

(And I’m not for pulling Hurts)

I'm a Hurts guy. But he clearly has competition. And I like that. Either he loses the job or the competition makes him better.

It's that simple.

The QB competition going into next season will be great.

Hurts is dangerous with the ball in his hands.

Tua is special though.

No trouble. For the first time in a long time, I do not get as worried when Hurts takes a big hit or his legs do something funny like that TD run last week. If we establish that punishing downhill running and combine that with the skill players...holy$hit. Combine that with the D getting even a hint of blood in the water.

That kind of humming team chemistry will not only make us be able to punch any team in the mouth, but we can counterpunch anyone that could legitimately stand up to us.

Today is by far the best performance we've seen from Tua. Very impressive for sure.

My dad calls him "Coconut" because he can't pronounce his name yet. A lot of people are gonna have to learn how to say it after today.

I’m excited about the future of the program with Tua as the backup QB. Jalen is electric and down right clutch; and Tua has shown much promise! Only at Bama do you have backups, who are qualified to start for 90% of FBS schools.

He won't be a backup qb for long. He darn sure won't sit on the bench for 3 years waiting to play one. He played better today with the 2nd string than Hurts did with the 1st.

I noticed the quick release as well on that TD throw. Jaw dropping.

But not only against Vandy, against a Vandy team that was already physically beat down hardcore.

Did you also think the 4th and 5th string RB's were much better than the starters?

He is exciting to say the least. I still can't believe the perfect ball he threw after avoiding the sack.

His throw to Jeudy was money.

I'm going out on a limb and predicting a 2nd team offense victory in the A game next April.

That touchdown throw when he was under pressure was one of the best plays I've seen in a while. We got it good boys.
