I don't have VIP access, but somebody on the Coaching Board said that Maryland interviewed Lane Kiffin. Here is the link for those that have VIP LINK

how do you know. He left UT in a mess and was fired from USCwest. An ACC job that is not the pits like Wake F. would be a great place for him to parlay his talents.

Bama could pay him more as OC than they would as HC. That would not be an upgrade for him.

taking a job like maryland and making a splash would be the only way to get another high profile HC job for kiffin, show that he has learned from saban

Lane is more of a Nike guy. He's probably just going through the motions of interviewing at Maryland to put it out there that he's ready to give HCing a go again.

B1G job. Same division as Ohio St, Michigan, Michigan St, and Penn State. Tough place to build a program.

wow. when did I miss the big 10 move. They could easily pay him close to 4 mil. So unless he has other offers I would take it over Miami

Lots of ignorance in this thread. Maryland has money and lots of it. It's a job with loads of potential. Not unlike Oregon 15-20 years ago.
