Or the left hash... but definitely not off the right hash.

He is not the kicker you want but he is the kicker we deserve.

AG can not kick a FG off the right hash.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who notices this. Drives me nuts when we are obviously setting up for the FG when we run a play to the right.

What kind of field goal doesn't matter?

I've posted the stat many times. I'm not looking it up again, but Foster was around a 70% career kicker.

During his career, in games Bama lost or won by less than 7 he was 2 for 11.

2013 Iron bowl aside (when he came in because of Foster's failures), when Grittith has been in those situations he has risen to the challenge.

I agree. He has had some big moments for us, but I'm tired of his inconsistency.

I will be sad to see Scott go though. What a weapon he has been as a punter

When he's on the right hash, I feel better if it's a longer kick. His kicks don't have much hook to 'em...on the shorter kicks, the slight hook he has doesn't break enough before the ball reaches the uprights...on the longer kicks, it has more time to break...at least that's how it seems to me...

He makes the kicks that matter.

^this

It's college football folks, he's been clutch for us. I'd love to see him hit 100% of his kicks, but he's a far sight from terrible.

I remember we all cheered we he said he was coming back.

I think we're way too kind because it's been a while since we've had a kicked who was worth a damn.
We're Alabama. We should have a kicker who can hit from 42 yards from the right hash with ease.

I just hope we don't have to make a FG to win a game.
I won't have any confidence.

But, to reiterate a point made earlier about making kicks that matter, take the LSU game in 14.
AG misses a 25 yarder early , but makes the 30 yarder at the end of regulation to force OT.
